@meltic - Isn't COD, Battlefield, Halo, Gears, Infamous, KZ, etc etc the same thing over and over? Borderlands is essentially the same game from start to finish. GTA, run around, kill people, do missions, drive cars, kill people, do missions. Every game gets repetitive at some point. Have you even played Titanfall since your a PS owner?

Really good review. Both maps are so different and offer a different gameplay style. Angel City favors pilots a bit more because Titans are generally stuck in tight streets and with a window in almost every building, it's easy to hound/annoy titans. Fracture on the other hand is very open and allows for bigger titan battles. Pilots have to engage from a distance.
With 14 maps overall, I'm interested to see what else is in store.
1. And what does PS offer right now? Infamous and Killzone? X1 has Titanfall, Forza, and DR3.

3. Hardware/spec wise it is not, but the X1 does other things the PS4 doesn't do.

1. Smart pistol - I've played a few hours of the BETA on the X1 and I've been killed by the smart pistol twice. No one really uses it because it has no range and you'll lose against any other gun. So his argument that it's a noob weapons is non-exist ant. Now maybe more people will use it in the full game, but right now not many do.
2. Minions/Bots - Are they stupid? Yes. Could they be smarter? Definitely. Do I want them turning the tide and be the difference ...
I hate cod too. Your rewarded in cod for camping to get your kills up to call in a chopper to dominate the battlefield. Here, everyone gets a titan and killing people just speeds it up a bit more. No stupid perks like dropping a grenade when you die. cod is very one or two level type of game meaning you can't get vertical. Addition of jet packs let's you go anywhere. And against titans, pilots have a fighting chance. Its really an addictive fun game.
No one gives free dlc anymore. Story line or not. And if they are going to release new maps and titans, I doubt they will he free. Be nice though if they were.
I'll never unstand how the bubble system works. Over 130 disagrees yet has more bubbles then people who talk normally and give educated opinions.
On topic, how can you say the game is crap unless you've played it? I watched a Thief video on the X1 yesterday and wow, it looks great and seems to play great too.
Well that's good. I guess they did the whole code thing to start to make sure the servers were able to handle it. And now they can allow everyone in to test it out. Not often does a super big title open up to everyone, so nice to see Respawn saying here, play the game and enjoy it.
Domination is actually the better game mode I feel. Your fighting over objectives so theres always players to fight.
The game is a lot of fun. It's different then any other FPS shooter. I love the burn cards that you can use once during a match. All the attachments you can do to your titan. And lets not forget, this is 1 titan. 3 total titans and like 16 maps in the full game. Being a pilot against a titan, you actually have a chance. Jumping on the back of a titan is so ...
Would 8v8 really make that much of a difference over 6v6?
These maps are small, you can't fit more titans. Can you fit more pilots/regular soldiers, yes. But the titans are so big and take up so much space it was be too chaotic. I played a match with 8 titans walking around on Angel City and once a couple titans were fighting in the street, no other titans could get in there. So it's tough because there could be more pilots, heck you could fit 20v20 for pilots only. B...

Anyways, I've played the game with couple of my friend and it's really really fun. Graphics are good, no amazing, not best ever, but good. Honestly there is so much stuff going on that you don't have time to stand there and look around.
And yes, the bots are morons. But they aren't worth killing. They do however go to objectives and will shoot rockets at...
All I have to say is WOW. Just played for about two hours and man is it addictive. I thought 6v6 might be a little low, but its perfect. Anymore and it would be too clustered. Maybe 8v8 would be the max. Anyways, game is so much fun. Graphics really aren't bad at all. Not killzone or eyes quality but good. You dont have time to sit and smell the roses so the graphics dont need to be jaw dropping gorgeous.
BTW servers seem to be fine.
People dont understand the point of a beta. Better to fix these minor issues now for a successful launch.
You realize this is a multiplayer game, not an AI shootfest right? The objective is still to beat the other team of humans. The bots are just there. Id rather have them stupid then ridiculous getting headshots every time.
If someone gets an X1 code and it should have been a PC code, I'd be more then happy to take that X1 code off your hands :)
Right because since the majority of the game is a simulation shooter (getting into mechs, jump packs, and made up weapons) neck breaking is the most unrealistic thing lol (sarcasm)
They could have given out 100 codes, I could have registered 99 times, and guaranteed I wouldn't get a code lol. I registered a couple emails, family, and friends. Nothing so far and I dont expect one :-(
What needs saving? X1 is selling fine, its been out three months, and lots of good things coming. System update, new games, and more. Its not like they are blowing up or system is downright crap. Its doing fine. Yes, Sony is doing better but so what? Doesn't mean x1 is dead.

I think customizing a titan would be cool. Different colors, emblems/badges, different parts, but maybe in Titanfall 2.
As for the article, not a bad list but majority are stupid. Repair tool? This isn't BF. You get 3-4 Titans per match, repair tool would just allow someone to stand there and repair while getting shot. Soldiers look different than bots? No, the point is to keep them looking similar. There is a burn card where you can look like a bot.
