Haven't heard much about these games, but it seems I'm missing out. I have to add them to my ever-expanding list.
@MichaelJackson- Personally, I've never tried to justify why my 360 is "better." I only say that it is my personal preference. The fanboy battles really heated up when the PS3 loyalists tried to make us prove why an inferior hardware with a fail rate way higher than normal (on the older models) was "better" than a system that got a full year more to develop.
I've said this the whole time- it boils down to preference and past experience.
Wishful thinking never hurt anybody. I always dreamed of cross-platform multiplayer. Impossible to enact without the corporations going insane from a financial standpoint. Still, that would alleviate some of the stress of fanboy-ism.
If there was a way to pretend I didn't see this post, I'd do it. N-Gage belongs not in any gaming discussion. Along with that thumbtack sized Gameboy they called a Micro, or whatever.
Money, indeed. Even with a decent job, I only own my 360 and a few retros. I'm not opposed to the PS3, just can't afford one and the Xbox owned my heart before the PS2 did. The opposite is surely true for some others.

Besides, N4G is the epitome of a fanboy site. The flamewars here are unlike any I've seen. Hopefully this comedy-satire will ring true. We're all human, have preference, and defend it- but the truth is we are all unified under the "gamer" banner. Hear us roar!! (or at least click out triggers and sticks in unison...)
Mau, I was surprised at how much fun this game was even with random people online. Although it's always more fun to have friends, sometimes it's nice to just unplug your mic and wander with a new group. Plus, sometimes you get a ringer who you can ride all the way to some new achvs! :)
The DS version of this game is phenomenal and I can only imagine the power on the Wii. I don't own the console, but I might steal one from a 10 year old (or a 65 year old) to try this title out. ;)
I say anyone who wants this game boycotted because it's not "original" enough as a sequel or it's rushed out is ignoring the fact that we're talking about one of the most renowned game studios in history.

I own and support my 360 and I even gave this post a disagree. This is completely perspective based. I've been on PSN and it's neither cold or dead.
I prefer my 360, but to pretend that PSN is VASTLY inferior to the XBL experience is just uneducated gaming rhetoric.

Thought provoking article. This includes many of the arguments used by gamers through the years. The problem is that the mainstream doesn't play video games.
The marijuana legalization campaigns have been fighting to change the inaccurate perceptions about them for years, and they're fighting the same battle because people are generally unable to think outside the box.
Home Improvement, while no masterpiece, is a significantly rare SNES game. And I can get through the first level. In fact, I can beat it. And *gasp* I like it!!!! :)
Good list. Dead Space, Bioshock, System Shock all deserve space in the scary genre too. System Shock is probably the scariest game I ever played, but that's because I played it at 3am, in the pitch black, when my mom told me I couldn't play the computer anymore. ;)
True, this article fails to recognize that the PS3 accesses the full versions of the WEB-based Twitter and Facebook. But my BlackBerry doesn't access the true web versions while an iPhone can. It has integrated software to access those networking sites.
Just like the 360. It doesn't claim a browser (and believe me, we all hate not having one, especially when going between systems) and that sucks, a lot. But to suggest that the 360 has contributed nothing to the gaming indus...
The irony of all this excessive fanboyism (on both sides) is that all we're both saying is the other system sucks for "x" reason repeatedly. Forza may not be a masterpiece, but Haze and even Killzone 2 were nowhere near their hype.
I've already said I recognize and understand the 360's hardware inferiority, but the reliability issue and "pay service" (gasp!! if your cellphone bill was free wouldn't you wonder if it was as good as a pay version?) get beat to...
I got smoked on level 3 and 2. I finally beat them once on 1. Lol!
VERY hard to get used to. I lost like my first three matches against the computer. I was surprised with how well I did in Endurance though- was ranked 8 out of 167 as of last night. :)
That's what I thought too. Yahoo Pool was my first taste of the genre. This is a slightly new take on a pretty limited scheme.
It was a tough review to write because I'm not a HUGE pool fan. Altogether, the game didn't do anything overly well or lack severely in any category either. Just a run of the mill arcade, imo.
A flashback article. Nice to read about characters that hold a permanent place in my video game heart. This makes for a good series article.
