Agreed. Concept looks pretty cool. And Indie devs are always good about quality (maybe always is too strong.)
I always liked Cody. Haggar was too, well, haggard.
Quite the interview. Good preview method of an otherwise pretty quiet game. Looking forward to more.
Seeing that pic of the lag balloon is interesting. And there are some really accurate claims about the average U.S. citizen's access to high-speed data transfer for a reasonable price. Nice look at future news.
Nice list. Always nice to reminisce about games via a fun article like this.
An Easter-themed article on Easter. Weird.
I am incredibly capable at twin stick FPS. But, I played The Conduit for a little while, and it was really difficult to acclimate to the point and shoot controls while moving me wrist vs. my thumb.
It also seemed like a Halo imitator, which as a 360 is almost insulting.
LIVE is a polished experience, and is definitely a more developed online than Sony's. However, LIVE as an official service is older than Sony's Home, or online community. Sony relied on game-based online play, rather than a dedicated service.
Sony has massive hardware potential, much of which is untapped. It'll be interesting to see how the Sony online service evolves as their install base expands past the hardcore gamers who it was initially targeted toward.

I think this is IW trying to fix a hot mess. For all the hype, reception of this game is mixed- while all the sites gave it high scores, the online community is still divided into lovers and haters. No matter what IW does with MW2, new maps and content isn't going to get me back into the game.
I would love to see a FULL CoD4 map pack for MW2. But playing 4 and seeing all the spots for the ultra-camper crowd to exploit is disheartening now.
I finally played BC2 ...
I like the objective overlay on walls and stuff too. I think it's a cool way of integrating everything you need to move ahead in the game.
Is it terrrible that I had no idea that outside pipe was even on the warehouse? No wonder I always get caught.
Few demos have ever made me WANT to play multiple times.
Why come here to say how much a game sucks that you won't get the chance to play? That's like walking into Wal-Mart and saying, "these prices suck" then running across the street to Sam's Club. Criticizing a game just to convince everyone who's excited about it that it sucks is a really troll-ish philosophy.
Also, I'd be really surprised if you weren't just trolling for a reaction (which I realize I'm giving you). Seeing these screenshots doesn't impress you with th...
This makes me want to dust off GTA4... or better yet, San Andreas... Boo no HD graphics.
I haven't even walked into the arcade because of LIVE issues with the program. It's too bad, cuz I was really looking forward to this. Solid review though- pointing out both the negatives that I anticipated and the positive throwback feel that I hoped for. Reminds me of Family Game Night (Hasbro) with all the downloads and stuff, but it's right up Microsoft's alley to create a program to make more money.
Glad this one has been well-received. I'm looking forward to trying it.
I care about as much for 3D gaming as I do for gaming while moving my body. These new innovations are no longer about making it as graphically impressive as possible, but integrating the gamer into the experience.
That's frustrating for me; if I wanted physical activty, I wouldn't have chosen gaming as my favorite hobby/pasttime.
Everyone already tied this to the stereotype tree, so I'll go a different route: over/under on first gamecrush.com related rape where GTAIV is blamed? I say three months.
Agreed. Anyone here can look back at my comment history and see that I support both consoles for their positives, but comparing the 360 pay service to the PS3 free service is comparing two completely different entities. Sony still has yet to add cross-game party/chat support (something the 360 made a big show of adding with the NXE update).
There has to be a reason Microsoft charges for their service. It makes more sense for them to offer it free to compete with Sony. Clear...
Poor Miyamoto. One of gaming's most venerable minds, relegated to creating games about poo. Oh, how far we've come since Zelda....
Sounds like a whole game like that "defend the hull" mini-game in Dead Space. Which was cool for awhile, but I can't see a whole game out of it.
