If you disable haptics/triggers, the speaker mute the microphones and dim the LEDs DualSense battery life significantly improves. This is something people don't often because unlike back in the day with DS3 battery life (which was good) vibration was often disabled because it did not improve since PS1 and PS2 and it also interfered with Sixaxis control (which was seldom used by many including myself) but on DualSense the individual microcontroller boards are separated by...
Modding is an issue for a game actually attempting to be realistic. I've seen the AC mods some look great most do not.
Article was updated and therefore disproves what you wished it would rather prove.
@purple101
And that didn't happen...
Meanwhile Xbox 360, One and Series consoles have ads on their homescreens!
"Cause I know, and see through the fake outrage, and understand that it’s either this or pay more per game to maximize profits."
No you don't and MS is doing the second thing - raising game prices -and they will likely do the first thing as well adding more ads now into your paid Game Pass subscription.
How have these companies helped their respective industries? I personally have a Spotify account and sub frequently but they don't help their industries. At least music services like Apple Music and Spotify are useful for finding new music you might like. Can't really say that for Netflix with its atrociously limited selection of content and p••• poor search system. Xbox Game Pass is in the same boat as a service like Netflix. Not easy to find what you like and minimizes the likelihoo...
What a lot of people don't understand is that where they allow one ad... many more will eventually be allowed, because yes ads don't actually make a lot of money for the people selling space to show them.
Is there an ad free Xbox dashboard option yet? How about for Win11?
MS is ruining more than just gaming.
@Ninver
I got the joke right away but for future reference it is always best to use "/s" when making a joke because everyone is a bit autistic when all they have to go on is a somewhat innocuous text-based joke.
In MS' ecosystem yes... But in truth it's been that way in the MS space for over a decade now.
@HyperMoused
Yeah stop giving your money to MS and if you find games you like anywhere else whether that be MS' competition by their stuff if it's better for you. That's how you tell MS and any company, that their way isn't very good.
@Extermina8or3_
That's thankfully not an issue in Windows 10 Pro and hopefully it won't be... at the same time I'm not online regularly. I've heard rampant all over Win11. But it can get worse. Imagine not being able to use Windows at all without a constant internet connection no matter what you pay for it. That day might be coming.
That was one of the strangest things when I first got a 360 after the PSN hack. I couldn't understand why my console home screen was trying to sell me Swiffer products and fast food... I was thinking "What the •••• was MS thinking?" And also "This can't possibly be what's on everyone's Xbox homescreen." I was wrong about the second thoght but I still don't know what MS was thinking when they created ad space for 360. They removed it in modern FW though ...
Pretty sure the devs got permission (if that is even a real brand of chewing gum).
It's called the "Microsoft Store" they have physical and digital storefronts selling computers, components and of course software.
You are clearly very very dumb.
If you make an ad that no one remembers and cannot link to any product... how do you sell the product you are advertising?
Just one more car there in that train of logic went missing.
Maybe this guy has a wife... or is a cross-dresser. Whatever the reason if MS is serving you those ads in games they are also SELLING YOUR DATA!
Freedom Wars for PS5 when!?!
One can dream
Nintendo's output has been worse than Xbox's this gen. Switch blew its load early and had LM3 about three years into the gen only to get a handful of NEW Switch games not ports from older Wii U. Remakes are new releases ports are technically "new", but I won't count them.
The only publisher of the big three with consistent output for the past 5 or 10 years has been PlayStation. Microsoft get's a ton of blowback for it and rightfully so... why not N...
@Stark
More like 18 to 20 hours less battery life. Yeah DualSense is missing out on a lot of time and I can't say I don't think that is a knock on the device... but Xbox Gamepads do less much less and what I forgot to mention in my last is that they likely also skimp on BT radio power. When I use my Xbox One pad playing on my PC the controller is not even a foot away from the laptop and yet the controller still manages to lose connection to it. This doesn't happen with Du...
