Here's a hint, Konami, your 3D castlevanias have sucked. You cancelled the dreamcast version only to release a series of bland 3D action games. Meanwhile, the VAST majority of your fan base clamors for a sequel to SOTN because it was such an excellent game.

Don't be fooled by the Sony marketing hype. Virtually every p.c. game shipped today has resolutions that far outwheigh 1080p, and those games fit just fine on a plain old DVD, even without the Xbox's advanced compression library.
The ONLY things that require Blu Ray are _exctensive_ use of CGI cut-scenes...but given that Halo utilizes in-engine graphics for cutscenes, this isn't an issue.

It is worth noting that since Bungie discontinued this mod they have given all the developers jobs at the studio.
It seems less like a case of IP infringement and more like a case of Bungie working on/planning an RTS around Halo themselves...given their history with the excellent Myth games this wouldn't be much of a surprise.
The only downside of this is that last post (the one that got removed about the rumor) had some of the best posts this site has seen in a long while...even the usual diehards became very civil and well spoken.

It'll be a blow, that's for sure, but the simple fact is that MGS4 and Final Fantasy whatever will probably be enough to sell enough PS3s.
I think Sony is in for a very tough time through the 3rd quarter of 2007, which is when I imagine they would have originally launched the PS3 had Microsoft not pushed them. Once we get a price drop, then a few more price drops, some sequel-based exclusives and all the production issues worked out, sales will really start to pick up.

I believe Warhawk has been delayed and GT isn't due until December in Japan. I just asked a question about launch games. If Sony only lists these seven games, then it seems a viable question to ask.
