"Both are getting the download ability from Netflix. "
Actually, both are RUMORED to be getting download ability from Netflix.
* MS rumors from a torrent of sources over the past six months.
* Sony from ONE PSM rumor article in their April issue.
Additionally, Netflix's current service offers ONLY (amazing quality) streaming SD videos. In all probability, one or both companies will simply open up the existing SD service to their devices a...
Solid Snake is right...
Unfortunately, you now work for a company that publishes on multiple platforms. You're going to have to be platform-agnostic from now on...sorry. :)
No one on this site is going to believe it, but when a RETAILER admits to supply problems for the 360, that tends to be 100% validation.
Of course, I'm going to lose all my bubbles for saying this here...
...know what a RUMOR is? Why the hell is everyone saying that this is the "best NEWS ever."

"...people hate you for no damn reason. "
Give me a break, Sony is no different than any other company out there...they do things we like, they do things that are Evil. Let's remove the rose colored glasses and start evaluating all the companies on a level playing field.
Home looks great _for what it does_. It is a very different product.
For playing games, Home doesn't give me any of the _in game_ benefits that are the reason I enjoy Live.
Can we all start comparing apples to apples? It is sort of like the common argument on this site:
Who care about that DLC, Fighter, puzzle game, whatever, it looks like crap compared to Killzone!
Hahhahhahaha! Hahhahhaahaha!
You are kidding, right? I mean, really kidding, right?
Please say you are kidding.
NEWs. See the word in there. How about:
a) Not true.
b) Even if it was, the only people that give a damn anymore are the people that waste time with the 40 garbage articles and 2 million time-wasting posts a day.
360 had a hardware problem. Wow...NEWS!
There is absolutely, positively not a patch required for each game. Apparently, you haven't the foggiest idea how an operating system layer works.
Beyond that basic absurd misconception, do you somehow think Sony gets the _code_ for all the games we submit? Of course not...apparently in your world, Sony is making all publishers re-submit binaries for their games just so they can have an XMB in-game.
Keep your damn mouth shut unless you have at least some idea w...
60fps.
UE3 uses Novadex for physics, not Havok. 3rd party companies have integrated Havok into the engine for their own games, however.
Seriously...I thought the switch from open to closed zones would help, but unfortunately for those of us actually looking for news, and not the same uneducated 40 stories a day with the same inane comments, it looks like moderated sites like Kotaku, Joystiq and the awesome google groups is the way to go.
I'm a game developer, and I can honestly say that the PS3 is gaining serious playtime in my living room, but most of us "big boys" here (are there any left) can honestl...
Right, ignoring every freakin' one of us who actually...
...what's the point. No matter what I write, if it doesn't 100% follow the Sony Kool-Aid line that this site has been lost to, it will be ignored and people will flame back with useless comments. No one actually wants to have a discussion about PS3 development on this site, unless of course it is just me spouting about how there are NO bottlenecks in the PS3 whatsoever...
When did Dusty change the domain ...
I'm sorry, but this site is essentially a PS3 fanboy forum at this point, and I can't fathom how anyone with a fair view of reality actually gets news here anymore. I'm a multi-platform holder, and I work in the industry, meaning the success of _all_ consoles is pretty important to my continued employment. I used to come to this site (back when the two sides were split) and found it to be an amazingly timely source for information.
Lately, however, every damn PS3 post post ge...
As does the Wii and 360...so?
Sure, that makes total sense on the surface, but doesn't that seem just a little too simple for an exclamation?
I'm sorry, but the 360 version is going to need to ship on 4 DVDs...that is how they fit it all.
;)
This article may be the single most grammaticaly incorrect piece of writing ever created. There may be some great points in there, although I will never know, as I gave up since poor writing tends to reflect poorly on one's opinion.
" Now, a game like Lair, that was a great game at E3 2007, when it was released it looked great (except for the occasional framerate drop), the controls felt like they where just thrown in there so you can maneuver your dragon with SixAxis (al...
Seriously, this is a forum post and this garbage is getting embarrasing people...
"but good observation, gaming if you look at history started real big in japan. "
Pong was American. ATARI is an american company...games exploded in the US long before the Japanese came along.
Edit: Deleted stuff about UE3.
