Microsoft is in a bit of a pickle… B/c they cancelled 2 huge AAA games already (Fable Legends & Scalebound), they can't let Crackdown 3 get cancelled. So they have to throw as much money as need be in order to keep this game going.
But the more money they throw into the game, the harder it will be for the game to be a financial success (since it would have to sell more, just to make up the additional expenses to break even)
Of course, just like Nier:Automata went to Xbox (in order to get more sales), so too will Ashen eventually go to PS4 (in order to get more sales)…My guess is the same 1 year time frame that Nier:Automata had
Thanks for the info…I just corrected the submission to show the accurate info

The way I see it, GamePass has 3 distinct value advantages over PS Now (price per month, download vs stream & newer titles)…
The question is: Do those 3 distinct value advantages mean that PS Now is "not even close" (even though PS Now has 470 more games)?
Best value in gaming, not even close…Not even close???
Define "value"
Game Pass - $10/month - 180 games
PS Now - $20/month reg price ($8.25/month in USA & Canada if 1yr is bought by Sept 25) - 650 games
(even at full price PS Now offers over 3x the games for 2x the price)
So again I ask, Define "value"?
April - June 2018: Sony is 1st w/GoW & Detroit (2 new AAAs)…I think Nintendo is not too far behind in 2nd w/Mario Tennis & Donkey Kong…And Xbox only having State of Decay 2 (which I hear is pretty good) is pretty far back in 3rd
@Tekolie - "Yes I read past the description and as always NPD is limited to the US. So the PS4 will be the only place you can play the top 10 selling games from the US. This is in no way a global prediction."
Umm, did I suggest anything other than USA? I mean, I didn't mention any countries because I thought everybody knew that Mr Piscatella represented NPD…and NPD is USA only…
In other words, I thought all the "NPD is limited to the U...
@Tekolie: "The description says otherwise -_-"
If you get past the description & actually read the article...then you'd see that Mat does indeed predict (right or wrong) the top 10 games of the year…
Based on his prediction (which again might be right, might be wrong)…Only the PS4 will be able to play all 10 of those games
Mat predicts that PS4 will be the only console that that can play all top 10 best-selling titles of 2018
@xRaceer74x "People would buy the X for RDR2 it will be the better version." — Wrong...
On a Worldwide basis, more people are buying the PS4 Slim over the Xbox One S & Xbox One X…COMBINED
@MasterCornholio - "anonymous sources?"
This article uses an anonymous source too…it just says "Microsoft provided us a statement".
I guess the lesson here for Jason Schreier is to be more vague…if a person working for Microsoft tells him something, he shouldn't specify that the person doesn't want to be named…Instead just say "Microsoft provided me a statement"
Well this the game actually hit 1 Million in a week…not 2 days. Microsoft's clever wording makes it seem it was 1 Million in 2 days, but they cleverly said 2 day after the official launch. BUT the Ultimate edition came out on May 18 (5 days before the official launch…And 2 days after that would be 7 days)
Yeah, if its not already past 5M its gotta be close…And my guess is we'll hear something about where the number stands at E3 (my guess is 7-8M announced at E3)…
Not only that, its only 1 week away from matching TLOU's consecutive streak on the UK charts
The author said the original Gravity Rush was PS+ in Dec 2016…That's not true for EU ( https://blog.eu.playstation... ) or NA ( https://blog.us.playstation... )…I think that was for Japan only (unless somebody can give me ...
@Germaximus - I was being sarcastic when I said I didn't notice the pun.
(I can't for the life of me understand why that is more important to you than the actual substance of the article.)
Oh snap…One of the most gorgeous games I've ever played now gets photo features…LETS GO…BOY!!!
(@Nyxus: lol, I didn't even notice the pun..but yes, pun intended)
Sony going all out on the games front
GAMES, GAMES, GAMES…this is, and should be, the #1 focus of a console gaming platform (everything else is side-dishes)
If Pachter is right…And thats a HUGE if…Wouldn't that mean that Xbox would be giving the power back to PlayStation?
I mean, I don't see how the next Xbox would launch before the PS5 & still be more powerful (since PlayStation would be able to see what exactly was in that Xbox & make their console stronger)
(I think: Which ever console launches 1st will be the weaker of the 2 consoles)
