Yes, because so many people are shouting about Kena from the rooftops./s I see the occasional bit of coverage on this game, but nothing compared to even a quarter that Cyberpunk got.
Oh, I forgot about this game. It looks like it could end up being really neat though, so I hope it turns out well.
To my understanding, Japan has been better than the West about following restrictions. I say, let them have PS5s. It will give them something to occupy themselves while they’re staying indoors, not assembling to protest the “infringement on their right” to kill everyone’s grandmother with COVID like many annoying Americans do.
I even came across a turd of a YouTube vid saying Xbox might surpass PlayStation in Japan. It was a short vid but suffice to say, I did not finish it.
Wow, three people obviously have more faith in Konami than I do.
As much as I dislike SEGA, I at least have faith that this will lead to more games on their part. Konami's restructuring is just for show unless they prove it isn't be releasing something...even if it's another set of retro collections. Literally anything they throw our way would be an improvement over the nothing they currently produce.
Agreed. It would be perfect on the Switch. I especially loved Virtue's Last Reward.
I suppose there is that. She has made more of a mark than many of us will in our lifetimes, even if we do live right on through to old age. She still should have lived longer. Those of us who keep on living should always remember that everyday is a gift that should never be taken for granted.
So sad. Yet another death. We seem to be hearing about a lot of those lately. I'm sure this will only make her performance all the more sobering.
I played Tokimeki Memorial on my PS3 using a translation app once. I don't comprehend nearly enough Japanese to do it otherwise, but it was fun. I even got Shiori Fujisaki's ending. I never did that sort of thing since though, largely because it was still a lot of trouble, and it still hurt my brain as I was also trying to absorb some Japanese from doing that. I backlogged the multiple other digital PS1 bishoujo games I purchased, including Tokimeki Memorial 2 that's supposed ...
Perhaps so, but it is the game I needed at the time. I have since moved on, but it was a great way to "visit" my friends or have them "visit" me. I also got to have imaginary friends keep me company for a while. I still visit my island when new events come up, but that hasn't been for a while. January's update has been meh. It seems February will be better, so I might visit it a few times next month.
Ah, the age old "if X is a departure from Y, it's a terrible Y". In a universe where series never deviated from the standard formula, we would still be playing first generation Resident Evil, and there would be no Breath of the Wild. Infinite is, IMHO an excellent game in its own right, and it actually does something excellent for the series: it proves that the potential for a Bioshock game is nearly...infinite (SNS). Locations and gameplay are limited only by the imagination...
@CobraKai She's Caucasian too. They said it couldn't be done. I mean, she's not drop dead gorgeous like some of the female protagonists I've made, but I think I managed at least an 8.5/10, maybe a 9.
I accepted the challenge to make a decently hot female Ryder. I actually kind of succeeded. I have a knack for that sort of thing though. It’s on my list of useless talents I’ll never put on a résumé, but it’s a thing I can do. I can imagine most people probably just gave up on that though as it isn’t as straightforward as it usually is with games like that.
I’ve played far worse games (it’s definitely not Skylight Freerange), but it’s just disappointing when compared to the original trilogy, which set the bar a lot higher.
The best thing they've done in years is a trio of collections of some of their retro titles, so you tell me. For what it's worth, those are excellent collections, but...in terms of new stuff? I'm drawing a blank.
TBH, I think Nintendo had their work cut out for them when porting a game that was really designed to be played on the Wii, through and through, and making it work with the various control options on the Switch. It wasn’t made with a handheld in mind, so I think using the touchscreen was the best compromise, even though it isn’t the best way to play.
I'm glad Hitman is still around. I've been a fan since his PS2 outings.
Remember when Xbox fans praised MS for securing exclusive content for multiplats on their platform? I sure do. Now that Sony's doing it, apparently they're the bad guys.
The worst part is, it gives Nintendo zero incentive to improve. I love Nintendo to, but I am able to acknowledge areas in which they could do better. But, if I owned a business with a product that practically printed money, and a legion of fans worshipped everything my business did regardless, I probably wouldn't see the need to change much either, no matter how legit the grievances may be that some people may have. That's where Nintendo is at right now.
