I dont think we'll see ANY new consoles for a while, and frankly I'm happy about that. The 360 and PS3, even the Wii have a lot left to give. I'd rather see more games for THIS gen, then another hardware cycle already.

I'm personally not a fan of the "I saw you first, you die in 2 shots" style of gameplay. It was cool in CoD4, but now every game under the sun is using it so that people who stink have a chance to win. I mean look how they butchered Uncharted 2 with a higher damage model... sigh.
I really, really prefer the UT2004, Halo 2, Resistance 1, and Goldeneye 007 style of GP. Those were the days.
Indeed. I rather like that design. And it looks smooth in all black.
Not every game needs to have the undertones of a film like the Dark Knight I feel. A story can be engrossing and epic without being grim and dire. A game can have compelling and exciting characters without having gruff, emotionally torn protagonists.

I'd still like to see Kratos take on OTHER pantheons. That would be cool. Heck even a new protagonist in a new setting/art style, like Chinese or the much wanted Nordic gods!
MGSR really needs to be set after MGS4 or totally unrelated to MGS2/4's plot IMHO.

Oh Jack, the biggest issue is that it isn't fact. What Aaron said, as it was written, was NOT fact. So I think people have a right to call him out on that.
While the fanboys who are offended by it are sad, the fanboys who believe every PR snippet tossed out in this manner by MS are just as bad frankly. MS is a great shepherd it would seem. Aaron spends more time, still, talking about the competition than about their own titles.
Doubtful. As someone said, MS is trying to push their usual agenda of a multiplatform title being "their game." It's just how they market.
Besides, we won't even see this title until 2011. Let's worry about whether or not the game is good first, okay? I think it could be great, and a nice gameplay departure like Peace Walker... they just need to make sure its NOT MGS4 from Raiden's POV. Make it happen after MGS4, or totally unrelated to the Patriots/...

I see that as a bit odd... Natal is a big project for MS. Revealing an entirely new Xbox system on the same day as Natal will essentially steal its own thunder. Why would people get Natal if a newer, bigger, better Xbox is coming out? Marketing wise I don't see this happening.
I bet its going to be Natal Bundle/360 redesign if antyhing. Which is a good thing. The 360( and PS3, Wii) have a lot left to offer this gen. Next gen being announced now would just be way too soon....
