Exclusives are dying. There is no reason for a third party title to really be exclusive in this day and age. Games are too expensive to make. That includes everything from GTA5 to Lost Planet 2 to Final Fantasy XIII.
First party exclusives and the rare paid for deal are going to be the future as long as consoles are close in install base.
....LOL.
N4G.
Please.
How long before matchmaking was working in Gears 2 and the massive amount of glitches were fixed? WEEKS.
Big deal, GG removed bots for now in online. People were abusing them. nice to see QUICK response from the dev. I would like to see them return bots however, and just negate any XP gained from them.
Oh N4G, continue to be pathetic, you make me laugh.
Why is everything a battle? And how does one determine a "winner" in such a subjective situation?
Each system has great exclusives. Each gamer has different tastes. The only winner is the gamer who enjoys the games and doesn't fall for more of this media crap.
All the media keeps on doing is proving how pathetic they are.
YOu need to go around all the levels and activate/protect the hidden totems. I raped the punk. The Primagen!
LOL.
Console wars.
Grow up children. Unless you work at Sony, Nintendo, or MS, you shouldn't care as long as the quality games keep rolling in (which they are).
I still anxiously await this game if they ever decide to port it.
It's nice that Square is following their multiplatform mantra and releasing Star Ocean on the PS3 as well.
What? They aren't?
Seriously, this makes NO sense to me, the current RPG situation in Japan is an odd one. They could have easily had 3x as many total sales if they released on the PS3 and 360 simultaneously.
Still, it's nice to see people being attached to the 360 over there. The longer we have all 3 consoles around the better for us! Anything tha...
Careful gents. We might have us an old fashioned mature discussion here. This is N4G, not allowed!
You ain't half bad yourself. Anyone with a smile like that HAS to be trustworthy.
And yeah, I enjoy both series, but I'm also the type to consider Halo 3 and CoD4 to be entirely different, despite being within the same genre. Are there parallels? Yes. But SC has always been about more tactical, solid gameplay. MGS has been more story driven, almost the arcade styled doppleganger. I couldn't swap one for the other frankly.
My brevity is due to the fact that this is HH...
No. March is fine for God of War. I want it to be READY when it ships unlike most big titles LAST fall that were glitch city.
Does the PS3 need a pricedrop this year? Yessum.
MGS and Splinter Cell have never been alike. Stupid comparison.
Best $25 I ever spent.
And by $25, I mean $250, since I decided to upgrade my videocard too. Bring on the free mods!
That's one of the biggest problems with N4G.
Also, what's so special about this 360? It's... red. Awesome. But unboxing it warrants its own story? Really?
I guess I just have higher hopes for "news" than opening a box or "versus" articles or "top 10 countdowns!"
Yes, look at me anger. Grr. Argh.
Shameless cash in? Yes.
Chance to play a GREAT game? Yes.
If you haven't, well, play it!
This is news?
Here's an XBox. It's red...
Wow. Must be a slow day. Then again, MS marketing can make taking a crap seem like entertainment and "must see!" footage.
It's funny how both PSN and XBLA need a bit more balancing. PSN goes for mostly original content like Flower and Echochrome. XBLA goes for primarily remakes/updates like Ikaruga and TMNT Arcade. Can you imagine an online service with access to TMNT, Ikaruga, Fat Princess, Castle Crashers, Braid, Flower, Wipeout HD....
*sigh* That would rock.
I wonder if this and Dead Rising 2 will hit this year? I definitely want to pick them up... man... so many multiplayer games... there's no time to really get into all of them. New CoDMW this year, KZ2, I want to check out the MP in Riddick, now this as well? Damn. Couple that with more L4D and there's just not enough time!
LOL. Oh N4G... you make me smile.
I'll just wait for a statement from CAPCOM instead of joining in on the stupidity of the flame war that has ensued.
More proof that numerical scoring just doesn't work?
It's a quirky fun diversion, and at $5, why not? Is it for everyone? No. But it's funny, reviewers and consumers lament the lack of "innovation" and "new ideas"in gaming.
Then they go and condemn when people try something new.
Hypocrisy much?
What I'd like to see is a more robust party system and co-op. That's all so far. :-)
