..and I couldn't believe how horrible the game is by todays standards. I'll only consider DMC4 if it scores well, and is around $25.
Wait, let me turn off some braincells so I can think like you. Uncharted, which is basically a marriage between Indiana Jones, Gears of War, and Tomb Raider won't appeal to everyone, but Mass Effect, with it's conversation trees and complicated AI teamate order giving /item equipping is?!
The PS3 is somehow in trouble if the 360 gets Metal Gear Solid 4, yet Mass Effect, which is now owned and controlled by EA is in no danger of going multiplatform, thus hurting the 360? How about Bi...
Who posted this non news anyway? Has the jackass even done a questionare before? Sony's own surveys that were emailed out (I did two of them so far), asked if I was buying, planned to buy, or owned their systems. It's nothing odd, as the posting of this story is falsly trying to create some impression that Konami's trying to gauge whether or not to support PS3.
Typical 12yr old xbots (the ones w/the squeaky voices you hear on Live during Gears of War bouts) who don't know the first th...
Sounds like the reviewer is one of those Nintendo fanboys that believe we owe all of gaming to Nintendo, and that they invented everything. I'm looking foward to playng it, but don't believe for a second that it's going to be better than Super Mario 3, 4, or Yoshi's Island.
Why would I want a remake?! If the time, money, and resources are being spent on another Zelda game then I want it to be entirely new, not a frickin' remake.
The 360 took so much flak for apparently having a weak launch, but I couldn't disagree more, and Condemned had to be one of the most underrated launch games ever.
My only gripe with this sequel is the main character. This is supposed to be the same guy from the first game right? If so he doesn't resemble the character in the first game at all.
I never understood what was so great about Knights of the Old Republic, so I was skeptical about Mass Effect in the begining. After reading the reviews, and hands on from Che Chou (formerly of XBN, the best Xbox mag ever) I'm stoked.
One system worshipping losers can fight back and forth all they want because I'll be enjoying Mass Effect, Mario Galaxy, and Uncharted this Christmas.
Actually it was originally coming out on the first Playstation. Personally I'd rather have a spiritual successor to Eternal Darkness.
It's great when the employees are passionate about gaming, but they should keep their own personal preferences to themselves. They should present the pros and cons of all systems/games and let consumers decide for themselves.
Anyway, the one thing that's worse than a know it all employee is the know it all teenager that's got nothing better to do than hang out at the store and give his opinion that nobody cares to hear. You should be given an extra 25% trade in credit just for having ...
And it was only $15. Great game, with solid graphics and gameplay, not to mention a nice sense of humor. Nicer still, there're areas that can only be accessed by characters you need to unlock/purchase.
A shame that judging by the comments section, this game will go unnoticed.
The game looked like crap anyway. Pretty textures, bland gameplay, uninspired enemies, and a history of development hell.
I really don't think many PS3 gamers were desperately waiting for it. Yeah, it's a fantastic game and a great value, but the bottem line is it's still coming. In the meantime, Uncharted is the biggest game coming to PS3, and need anyone be reminded that there's also CoD4, Lego Star Wars, Assasin's Creed, UT3, and many other titles? It's not like six months ago, when it was slim pickins. The PS3 library is expanding, and not only that, there's quite a few tasty PS2 morsels on the way like Sam...
Back before everything merged and became Gamestop, there was Babbages, Electronics Boutique, Software Etc, Funcoland, and others. It was nice when there was some competition, but now it's basically Gamestop or a big box store, and while big box stores offer great sales, they're far more limited on what they carry.
Bootsielon's comment of raising game prices to $90 is brilliant if you want to see publishers go under and developers disbanded.
Wha? Greedy is offering $20 for a game like Bioshock and then selling it for $54.95.
Anyway, I'm guilty of helping GS out as well as I still do buy used games from them. Take the latest coupon they've given out in their newsletter. It's 20% off any used PS3 game. So take that 20% and add my 10% via the Edge card and all of a sudden Ratchet and Clank is under $40. If I can take advantage of a deal like that, or the buy 2 get 1 deal (which I'm patientyl waiting for), then I'll go to Ga...
...it will no longer matter.
Loved the demo, and it only further cemented it's position as the game I want most this Christmas. It did take me several tries (over the span of a few hours) to finally get into the frickin' store to download the demo, so something has to be done about it. Imagine how bad things will be when PS3 has another 10 million owners? Killzone 2 demo will take days just to get into the store.
It's great that they keep on releasing expansions for Motostorm, but it'd be better if a lot of this stuff was free. Everyone should be more like Epic studios and give back to the fans.
The system has only been out for a year, for some reason people tend to forget the 360's first year.
I for one haven't forgotten about the 360's first year. I had to camp out for 8hrs for a 360 versus 36hrs for a PS3.
The 360 had quite a few strong launch games that I wanted (I bought four games at launch), while the only good PS3 game was Resistance.
The month after 360 launched I bought DOA4, and then Oblivion and GRAW all within the first couple of months. I di...
While I haven't played the latest FE, I did play through Path of Radiance as well as the first US GBA release. I found them to require very little strategy other than taking care not to let any of your characters die. Advance Wars requires far more thought and planning, and is easily the superior Nintendo published strategy series.
Nintendo sells Rare to M$ for $375 million, and they still wound up making games for Nintendo.
