I don't understand what the xbots are trying to get at. Are you people that dumb and blind? Wait, we already know the answer..
Just buy the Xbox version of HotD3 for $10, and unlock HotD2.It's a bc game, but you have to play with the controller until a gun shows up. Since HotD3 was developed on the Xbox equivalent arcade board (Chichiro?), it'll be interesting to see how the Wii port stacks up, and will be very telling as to if it's less powerful than the original Xbox.
Anyway, way to go Sega for repackaging a game that's been in the bargain bin since the last presidential election, so a new wave of nongamin...
At first this seems killer, but wait...you have to be an Xbox owner with an existing LIVE account, and transfer it over to your newly purchased 360? Well, that really narrows it down to maybe I dunno...nobody? Lame!
The latest issue of GFW (games for windows)states that there really is no lead platform for Fallout, and both the PC and console versions are being developed, with an eye on maximizing their strengths.
On the otherhand the magazine did state that Project Origin (the real FEAR sequel) is being developed with 360 as the lead.
Really folks, what's so exciting about Haze? It looks to be a totally "by the numbers" FPS that brings nothing new to the table that hasn't been done before. Then again, there was plenty of people gushing over crap like Jericho...
I'll probably rent it one day, or maybe buy it when it hits $25-$30.
Nintendo is trying to recreate the buyer frenzy again, by scaring consumers into thinking the Wii will be super hard to come by. Hopefully it'll backfire and people will stop caring and just buy a 360/PS3.
But at least we still have that super sweet looking Marvel fighting game coming (you guys have seen the footage right?), and hopefully PS3 still has it's DC online game hitting.
The Wii fad is slowly losing steam, and the PS3 will take it's rightful spot as Japan's #1 console.
Neither version is a must have when there so much better available for the 360 and PS3.
A free arcade game and 500 points? It's the little things like that that make M$ so awesome. But...what dummy's going to pay 1200 points ($15) for Xbox games that can be bought in retail for $5-$10? I'd rather save the HD space and own a physical copy of the game. They should lower the price to at least 800 points.
Better framerate > better lighting
They must be a pretty big team considering they also just pumped out Skate.
For buying Bioware! Now PS3 owners will have another future great game to add to their library in Mass Effect.
So Uncharted isn't a "AAA" game, but Mass Effect is because it scored .5 higher. Half a point is the difference between your level of intelligence versus a used paintbrush.
It's got pretty graphics and you kill people, it must be awesome!! IGN, Planet 360, and 1up are all teh biased!
How could it possibly score so low when the graphics are so purty?! The must be biased like 1up amirite?!
Prince of Persia this is not, and I applaud the reviewer for being honest with the game instead of succumbing to the visuals and tacking on a high score.
Just listening to the description of how the game plays out is boring. Do any of you think these pre-kill missions where you gather intel will be a blast to play? I doubt it.
This sounds similar to Crackdown in concept except Crackdown got everything right, with killer upgrades (who didn't love jumping huge distances, throw...
I just hope they tone down the collect-a-thon nonsense. It'll be interesting to see how this stacks up against the N64 originals.
so I'm guessing (hoping) I've got the Falcon 65nm chips in mine. It certainly doesn't run as hot as my old launch day unit.
Anyway, some of you were comparing failure rates among friends? Well, 3 out of 4 coworkers I know that have 360s have gotten RoD and had to send their systems back, while 1 out of 2 friends of mine that own 360s had RoD. The only reason my 1 coworker hasn't gotten RoD is because he never plays it (he's a WoW junkie). Of course throw in the fact that my launch da...
