By todays standards Far Cry 1 doesn't hold up well. Unless you like the linear experience.
All games are repetitive.
FarCry 1 clear an area of enemies - next area -rinse and repeat.
Most PS3 gamers don't know what PS3 exclusives are.

Killzone is an average FPS. If Killzone was multiplatform, you PS3 fanboys would say it's average.
Graphics mean absolutely nothing if the gameplay is average.
I'd expect the same from Crysis 3.
Obviously the people who say Killzone is the best FPS this gen, haven't played any multiplatform games.
Far Cry 3 blows KZ2 out of the water in gameplay and fun factor. Much better then the boring cor...

All I am saying is Uncharted's gameplay is overrated and that is a fact. The average gameplay is hidden behind the great story and set pieces.
A game that has a great story, set pieces and characters, BUT average gameplay does not deserve to be put on such a high pedestal and that is why it is overrated.

First of all relevance has nothing to do with how much RAM or SPECS.
There is no way in hell 720 or PS4 will need 16GB LOL!

WHen PS3 came out - 360 was what 8m a head?

If it didnt exist, no way I would play games with that trashy gimmicky gamepad that comes with the system.
THe problem with this game is its way way to scripted.
The targets you have to take out follow a very scripted path.
All you have to do is wait in a location you KNOW they will come back too, since its scripted and just wait. THen simply kill them.
Very very poor and predictable.
They are OPTIONAL - you don't HAVE to do them.
If it really worries on how you look to your PSN or XBL friends, in regards to trophies/achievements, then you are taking gaming too seriously.
I love trophies/achievements - some of them are just stupid.
I usually get them all for games I really really enjoyed, as I respect to the game. Other games I don't bother.

To be honest I am kind of getting bored of the Uncharted gameplay. I have always enjoyed the story, but the gameplay is getting a little repetitive, especially the climbing.
I actually haven't completed Assassins Creed 3 simply due to the gameplay being pretty much the same across all 5 games.
Having better GFX isn't going to change that at all.
Except that Fallout was never a shooter. Just because it has a gun and is in first person, doesn't automatically mean its a FPS, even if the term fits.
The shooting mechanics are different. Fallout plays like an RPG first with the shooting mechanics secondary. It's not part of the FPS genre.
Far Cry 3 is on the other hand, the way it feels is different. The shooting mechanics feel much more like a FPS and it's focus is mostly around that.

Will there be a lot of climbing in this game? If so, hopefully it is much improved over Uncharted. Uncharted is a great series don't get me wrong, but the climbing is VERY basic. You can only climb pretty much the correct way.
The review does have a point
It's basically Towers / Outposts / Wanted/Hunter missions and that group is just repeated. Though I am only now getting bored of these same group of tasks and I am 32 hours in. So it did take a while for me to slowly become bored of doing these same sets of things, but I am still going for them.
It does somewhat lack variety in things to do, but the beauty of this game is the exploration.
Its so fun just explo...

Three things
1) PS4 will NOT be able to run games at 4k resolution
2) 4k is pointless as there is no TV big enough to take advantage of 4k resolution. Hell most people that game don't even game on a TV bigger then 42", which is needed to see the REAL benefits of 1080p. - Waste of pixels.
