DPAD STILL in Primary/Natural position - Hello SONY the Left analog stick is used MORE then the DPAD, therefore the left analog should now be in the top/natural position.
Still poor wrist support - handles too short
This has bad ergonomics written all over it.
I wouldn't call keyboard+mouse support hardcore. Mouse requires no skill to aim. My grandpa could aim and get headshots with a mouse.
How is that hardcore?
Stick to a gamepad - requires skill, not to mention provides better immersion, which is what hardcore gamers want.

Okay so with my expectations lowered to the absolute minimum due to all the reviews of Aliens: Colonial Marines, I finally ended up playing a bit.
I did the first couple of missions.
The game is no way near as bad as the reviews said.
There were moments when I was in a dark area with all the Alien gunk on the walls with steam blasting at some points, with my motion tracker out then all of a sudden it goes OFF! I start getting chills, as I see...
THey probably will increase it because theres enough people out there that will pay it.
Was there actually a playable demo or is that just a demo shown of the game, but not released to the public?
If not, how do you know its nothing like the demo was? Those sequences shown in the demo, are they in the final game? Or is it totally different?
The only differences I see are the graphics, which is really not that important at all.

It's a shame false advertising seems to be legal in the gaming industry. Otherwise this kind of stuff wouldn't happen.

The good news..possibly? Reading all these bad reviews has really lowered my expectations for this game to the lowest it can be, so when I get up and play it, I'll be like 'oh its not as bad as I expected' :D
Im the other way around. I switched from PC gaming to PS3/360 and havent looked back. I can pretty much play all the quality games that are on PC already on PS3/360, plus more.
The PC platform is definitely not what it use to be back in 2000. Now it's known as the platform with hardly any games, with good reason, they are all available on PS3/360, making it pretty much irrelevent, unless I want to fire up Diablo 3 from time to time.
Looks like PS4 the only hardcore platform next gen.
There are a few bad games that sell extremely well.
Look at COD - awful game yet it sells so much.
You can thank the casual gamers for that though.
There are also a lot of good games, that don't sell well unfortunately.

The analog stick is only inaccurate if you are not use to it or have no skill.
After a month or too, you can aim pretty easily with the analog stick.
If its too slow for you, just increase the sensitivity. I usually always have it maxed, that way can pull off head shots quicker.
It's pretty much a fact that the 360 controller has the best ergonomics.
I really really hope they don't change much. The controller is pretty much perfect.
I was debating perhaps swapping the right analog stick with the face buttons, that way the right analog stick will also be in the natural position of the thumb, since that is used more then the face buttons.
I guess it depends on what game though.
Some of it is due to piracy, but I believe some of it is simply due to people not bothering to buy games on PC anymore, simply because you can already get them on 360 or PS3

Sorry but KZ2,KZ3 were average FPS. The gameplay just wasen't that great.
If KZ4 is just going to be the same but with better GFX, I will pass. There are much better FPS out there. Play games like Far Cry 3 and you'll know what I mean
Like someone mentioned in another post, this game will be most effective if there is more 'nothing happening' compared to 'more stuff happening.' Just going through the abandoned corridors, waiting for that tracker to go off and the suspense.
From what I've seen it looks like more stuff will be happening compared to the suspense of nothing happening, which will ruin it I think. Won't feel like the 'Alien' atmosphere.
Thats the problem with releasing so many AC games in such a short amount of time.
Before AC3 came out, the gameplay was getting stale and boring as it was pretty much the same across the first 4 games. Being in the same sort of location all the time among the games didn't help either.
AC3, at least for a while was a little fresh helped by the totally different era/location, but then that same old gameplay reared its head and thats when I ended up putting ...
