Having got the game on both PC and 360. Ended up getting the PC game first, because I LOVE Bioshock and I just couldn't wait for the next day, so had to grab it straight away and wait for it to unlock at midnight, it really boggles my mind with the small differences with the game between the 2 platforms. This doesn't just go for this game, but about 90% of multiplatform games. This is comparing it to Ultra settings. Switching between the 2 versions on my HDTV about 10 times in disbeli...
Yeah they expected to sell 3.4m copies.
If is still early. I have no doubt in my mind it will reach those numbers.
I may get disagrees with this but I don't care.
Crysis 3 on a technical/graphical standpoint may be better then Infinite, but Infinite absolutely BLOWS IT AWAY in the art department, making it more pleasing to look at IMO.
Really goes to show ART > Graphics.
Absolutely beautiful game.
Yet another PC Port it seems.
Firstly, yes there is a difference, but far out, CONSIDERING the hardware differences of the PS3 compared to a high-end PC, the difference isn't that big at all.
This happens time and time again with multiplatform games where the difference just isnt THAT big considering the hardware differences (except BF3 and Crysis 3).
Me personally, I am not that sensitive at all to things like graphics and framerate, hen...
Damn I have this game for my gaming PC, but I haven't even had a chance to play it much at all, due to my games backlog.
Even though I prefer to play all my multiplatform games on my PS3/360, (thinking of getting Diablo 3 for either PS3 or PS4 and playing it on that instead) though bit of a dilemma, as the gamepad is better for pretty much all other genres, Diablo 3's gameplay style is more point+click. Not sure if that will work well with a gamepad.

There is no need for 60fps. It is extremely overrated (having played both 30fps and 60fps). It really makes no difference.
Unless you are playing on a 70" HDTV or larger, 1080p isnt really needed either
To be honest - Tomb Raider (2013) as a game, is friggen awesome. Awesome combat, story and gameplay. One of the best games this generation
BUT as a Tomb Raider game - it's rather weak. There really is no sense of exploration or Tombs or puzzles, there are Tombs but very limited
This was a big strength with Tomb Raider Underworld, unfortunately for that game, the combat was its weak point.
So which direction would I want to see in the nex...
LOL Cod.
If COD wanted to improve and innovate the gameplay, they would of done so by now. You don't need new hardware to innovate a game gameplay wise. PC is proof of this, as it has all the same exact games - no difference.
It's all up to the developers ambition in WANTING to innovate and also pressure from the publishers limit them as well.
Point is, the chance to innovate, especially the COD franchise has always been there, but th...
Well the only difference between the PS3 and PS4 versions of Watch Dogs will be the graphics thats it. The gameplay is the same. People who buy it on PS3 instead of PS4 are still playing the same game.
As for which system I will buy it for. I am not sure yet, it all depends if the PS3 version comes out sooner, if it does, I'll get it on that.
Getting it on my PS4 would be a nice excuse just to start building my PS4 games library and since thats the new sy...
After all the bumps in the road during the PS3 launch. Not to mention higher price tag and coming out a year later then 360, it still managers to outsell the 360.
If PS4 gets off to a strong start. watch out 720.
multiplats being "better" on 360 is subjective.
They were TECHNICALLY better yes, but better is subjective.
Even though the PS3 versions of the multiplat games weren't as nice graphically, you were still playing the SAME GAME.
People will use any excuse to call it a better version, but fail to realise PS3 gamers were still playing the same game, same gameplay
There is a much muhc MUCH greater chance of it being more powerful, then more quality exclusives.
Being more powerful wouldn't matter, PS4 would still get the same multiplatform games PLUS the top-quality exclusives.
The game is brilliant
It is an IMPROVED Uncharted (gameplay wise).
9/10
Copying the 360 controller? The PS4 controller layout is more like the DS3 layout.
I can tell you one thing PS4 won't copy and thats RROD.
PC has hardly any games. Excluding the Indie games, PC has what Diablo 3 (coming to consoles). SImCity 4? LOL! WoW?!
99.999% of retail games can already be played on either PS3 or 360.
If anything PC has the worst, unless you are a nerd and play WoW of course.
As they usually exaggerate game length, would take about 4 hours off that. So 8 hours, which is about right for most games today.
Of course you could ARTIFICIALLY make it longer by playing on the hardest difficulty first.
Quality > Quantity
Sorry folks but this is all the truth.
The GPU on the PS4 is actually not to bad. The problem with the PS4 is the CPU. It really is the bottleneck of the system. The GPU will not get the FULL benefits of either, due to the slow CPU.
Don't expect a huge leap in graphics on the PS4.
I would go as far as saying they will look like 'cleaner' versions of PS3 games (Higher AA, Higher AF), with some improvement to textures.
This is dirty business. EA should be sued for shit like this. I dont care for this game, but this kind of crap should not happen.
EA already have your $$.
Class Action Lawsuit
Core gaming days are numbered then since 99.9% of core gamers play on PS3/360
Though Core gaming is shrinking but not at the rate where I think next generation will be the last.
Nah the PC version does look better, that video is not a 100% good representation, but the differences are still pretty small.
Yes the differences in 90% of multiplatform games is not that BIG between PC and 360 or PS3.
Blame the developers for ports and not willing to take advantage of PC hardware, except for DICE and Crytek
