Dead Space 3 felt was a great game. It may have had more action and less of a Dead Space vibe, but as a game it was brilliant.
People saying Dead Space 1 was better - At the time the experience was awesome because it was kind of new.

Maybe you guys need to learn that graphics means absolutely NOTHING if the gameplay is average.
I ended up pirating the PC version instead of buying the 360 version, as there is no way I was going to give you guys $$$, because I KNEW the gameplay would be crap. ONLY reason I played it was to continue following the story.

AngelicIce - the leap in graphics will mean NOTHING if the gameplay is still its usual average self. Yes I am talking about KZ2, KZ3 - generic, linear average FPS gameplay.
You can put all the fancy graphics pasted over it as you like, if the gameplay for KZ4 is going to be the same average gameplay from KZ2,3 - I won't be buying it.
To be honest, I am not that interested in GTA 5. I will still play it, but that series for me as taken a dive.
If GTA 5 is going to have pretty much the SAME gameplay as GTA4 or a mixture of GTA4 and San Andreas, but just with better graphics, I will be interested in Watch Dogs more, as it offers something more fresh in the gameplay department.
You know you can increase the sensitivity of the analogs in the game settings yeah? To me they are just as fast as kb+mouse.
I honestly prefer FPS and any other genre with the controller (except RTS).
I find kb+mouse boring, it lacks the immersion that a controller brings. Not to mention it takes no skill what so ever to aim with a mouse.

PC shouldnt even be put into the mix because it is now an irrelevant platform with no REAL exclusives. Seems like you are still living in year 2000. PC "Gamers" aren't even true core gamers, just nerds playing games - BIG difference.
As for Steambox, unless Valve can bring out quite a few REAL exclusives to the console, I don't see it beating the PS4 as terms of games and gameplay.
You definitely wouldn't want to get a 720 day 1, because you don't know what MS will deliver, or won't deliver for core gamers.
The route they took with the 360, and ignoring core gamers, best advise would be not to buy one and wait a while.
Regarding PS4 theres no need to worry there, we know SONY will give a lot of attention to core gamers.

I've played a lot of 1080p and 60fps games, it really isn't needed, especially 60fps, unless you are extremely nitpicky.
720p and 30fps is just fine.

You require a HDTV bigger then 40" to see the benefit of 1080p from 720p, anything lower and it's just a waste.
4k Video? Erm yeah sorry but that is overkill. You will need something like a 100+" HDTV to even see the benefits.

If you are expecting a Dead Space type game - game is disappointing
If you just look at it as non Dead Space, TPS with some horror elements, it's actually pretty good.
Wow - PC is becoming more and more irrelevant. First The Witcher 2 become available on 360. Now Diablo 3 for PS3.
These were the last games I even touched on my gaming PC. Now they are both on consoles, making the PC even less relevant.
Those who havent played Diablo3 will really enjoy it. Fantastic and addictive gameplay.
PC is useless as it has no great games that can't already be played on PS3/360 or the upcoming PS4.

I couldn't care less if it cost $1000 or even more, I would still buy one if it has all these awesome exclusives and multiplatform games.

But I am reviewing the game for THE GAME itself. I am not saying it's polished, it's unpolished for sure, but it didn't have much impact on me enjoying the game.
The game could of been even more tense if they got the Alien AI right.

The ALIENS atmosphere when you visit Hadleys Hope is SPOT ON. I felt like I was revisitng ALIENS it was that immersive.

When I entered Hadleys Hope for the first time and revisiting the areas from Aliens, I got so immersed. The atmosphere was spot on! Super dark with the tracker going off etc.

To be honest, there are multiplatform games that don't look as good on PS3 compared to 360, but the thing is, its still the SAME game. The gameplay is still the same.
Like you mentoned, all those PS3 exclusives also that Sony delivered.
Its pretty clear which system won the war.
