Im always a fan of having a multiplayer option, but I think its a little more forgivable in the case of UC just because of the strength of the single player campaigns. Would I love having it included? Sure. Will I still buy it without it? You bet.

different demographics. adults can enjoy Nintendo but lets not "kid"ourselves. Nintendo is the family oriented console and the ps4/xbox are more adult oriented. i intend no offense to adults that collect amiibo but they kinda belong with Nintendo and that demo. I'm still kinda surprised xbox took the avatar thing as far as it did in all honesty. not surprised it was dialed back on the x1.
that would most likely be a bummer unless they did the forza horizon 2 approach, where the last gen version was developed completely independently of the current gen version.

personally i like the xbox dashboard better than the ps4 one. its more functional and more customizable. it doesn't have the slick liquid shiny bit in the bg but personally i feel that look is starting to feel dated (and i'm a designer by trade fwiw). you can pin your most commonly used games and apps to the home screen. you can even pin tv shows to your home screen. it shows a live running preview of whatever the last app to go into the background is, your friends status updates...

I was under the impression the cloud was to assist in cpu based functions like physics, animation, etc. I never heard anything about the cloud improving graphics. Even that demo they showed a while back was all about how many destruction objects were being calculated realtime with the cloud, split screen with a computer not using cloud. amen. fh2 is the most fun non-sim racer to come out on current gen imo. its still in my regular rotation, well after DC,NFS and the crew faded out.
MS have had an x1 rechargeable lipo battery pack since launch and it lasts longer than the ds4 by a lot. and the beautiful thing is that if it eventually craps out, you can just go buy another one for $20 instead of having to replace the entire controller.
i definitely prefer the x1 controller over the ds4 too considering I'm now on my 3rd ds4 controller because the quality sucks and the battery sucks even more.

i see your point, and I don't necessarily disagree. The thing that bugs me about remasters though is that I didn't buy a PS4 to replay all of the games I played on PS3. With new hardware comes new abilities and for me personally, I want to experience new games that take advantage of this. Bigger worlds, better animation, better effects etc.. not just better textures running on an old engine.
