This sounds like nitpicking to me. I don't know how many times I went through random dungeons and areas in Fallout 3 and Oblivion only to find useless...
Is it true that your character can marry any of the women in Skrim? If so, I wonder who will take the plunge with Silda or Tekla. Someone has to give those two ladies the gift of societal upward mobility, and maybe some clean clothes too.
The download is pretty big, but as long as you have a good internet provider you should be able to do it in one night. I let it download while I slept and the next morning it was ready.
You can only have two heroes/villains with free to play though, if you want more you'll have to either delete one of them or pay.

The old RE games were fun and original enough to have copy cat games. Now, after RE5, we see articles about how it's more of an action game and Dead Space has taken over the horror genre. With Resident Evil: Black Ops on the horizon I have very little faith in the future of the series and its place as the king of survival horror.
Skyrim looks good compared to a lot of those games, but Mass Effect 2, FFXIII, and The Witcher 2 actually look better to me. I'm still going to get Skyrim, but I'm making good on my promise to buy it used due to the whole Scrolls incident.
Despite wanting to wait until a 3DS with dualsticks comes out I may pick this up if NoA actually decides to release it here. Since it's Zelda they might do it, but since people actually want it they might not.

He didn't kill the kid, and while you could argue that the kid was a jerk, I don't really think he was that bad. Sure he seemed to imply the character was beneath him, but he didn't sound too happy that everyone comes to ask his father for something either. Perhaps he despises his place in life, the son of a noble I'm assuming, and would rather venture into the world for a life of adventure.
In other words, that kid's got nothing on the kids in Little Lamp...
With what has happened to the survival horror genre I'm hoping that the new Silent Hill will do more than just save the series, but survival horror too. I don't trust CAPCOM to do it with Resident Evil: Black Ops or any future games either given their track record.
The fact that the team working on this new Silent Hill is looking to the originals for inspiration gives me hope, and I'll definitely pay attention to this game a lot more than the next Resident Evil, ...
In response to this uproar from PETA I will now play Metal Gear: Solid for the PS1 and shoot as many rats AND ravens as I can.
I don't see what the big deal is, they're both first person perspective games. Besides, I'm sure there are a lot of people who like CoD who will pick up Skyrim too.
It takes at least two stingers to take down a chopper at 100% health, and it's easier to take them down when their nose is facing you so the flares don't catch the missile. You might as well not even try to hit a plane since there's not much chance of it hitting due to range, speed, and flares.
If they nerf the stinger's power they'd have to increase the ammo count for them since you wouldn't be able to take anything out with them, and don't forget...
The good: Improved graphics, games are more accepted as mainstream, online capabilities greatly improved from last gen, new and risky games like Heavy Rain, Alan Wake, Demon's Souls, and Valkyria Chronicles.
The bad: DLC, very few games having unlockables or cheats, unoriginal FPS, online community full of kids, or anonymous people instead of a true community like in the arcades of old, and a trend that favors better graphics over better gameplay/fun factor.
Hey, Jason Schreier, why don't you make your own game since you have so many great ideas. I'm sure it would be the greatest game ever since you wouldn't have to save the world in it. I mean it's not like there are any Western games that have that plot. Who wants to save the world anyway? I mean who do Japanese game developers think we are, the very not Western hero Superman? /s
Hey guys, developers are like politicians when it comes to PR, especially mulitplat developers. Do you really think they're going to say anything bad about either console?
If they knock the PS3, PS3 gamers won't buy their game, remember Enslaved? If they knock the 360, the same thing might happen, and considering the install base in the US and the rumors that MS pay developers for things like early DLC I don't think any of them are going to bite the hand that fee...
Bethesda brought this all on themselves. I like Fallout 3, and I've never played any of Interplay's Fallout games, but Bethesda really should have just left them alone and let them make their MMO.
I don't think anyone really expects an MMO version of a game to be as good as the main title, just listen to the groans we've been hearing over Dragon Warrior X. Now Bethesda risks losing the rights to Fallout all because they let their pride get in the way.
