It would be good to see more protagonists of different races in games, just as long as they aren't voiced by white voice actors like in Bad Boys: Miami Takedown.

Traditional turn-based RPGs are alive and well, you just have to know where to look.

Yes, bring up the movie that almost killed Square completely when you make your suggestion for how the next FF game should be.

"Square Enix is no stranger to the Unreal Engine. The Last Remnant, released on the PC and 360 a few years ago made use of the Unreal Engine. However, complications with the engine on the PlayStation 3 left that version of The Last Remnant somewhere in limbo."

Do they really think this is a good idea? I know there are a lot of games that use it, many of them I own, but I absolutely hate that the Unreal engine is used so much. At least I can still look forward to FFv...

Yes, the NFL, a group of grown men playing a schoolyard game and getting paid millions for it. The same men who, in a bad economical climate, went on strike in an attempt to get even more money for playing said schoolyard game.

I remember hearing people say, "I'm done with the NFL, this is messed up that they're striking right now," but now those same people are saying, "Wow, the NFL's back, I'm gonna go buy my (insert team name here) stuff!&quo...

Yeah, playing video games on a system made by Microsoft and Sony or a PC that runs Windows(Microsoft) is really going to stick it to those corporations.

I wonder what starving kids in Africa think about the wealth gap in the wealthiest nations in the world.

I foolishly tried to kill a giant too when I first saw one. After that, I though I was in for it when I came across another one in the mountains, but I walked away without drawing my weapon and even though he saw me he didn't attack. They don't seem too aggressive, so if you leave them alone they'll leave you alone too.

"we already have third-party devs releasing their mods for the game; the coolest one is the nude mod"

Someone needs to get out more.

What we should really be doing is urging the members of PETA to get the help they need for their mental issues. That many unstable people collected in one place can't be good for anyone.

No, they changed it on me, it was on sale for the regular price when I first commented.

Stop trying to get those beagles fired, it was the only job they could find in this bad economy!

Don't worry, they'll get my money when they release the inevitable DLC.

I have tried a lot of free to play MMOs on my PC since they're pretty much the only thing my specs can handle, but DCUO fits great on the PS3. The gameplay is similar to Marvel Ultimate Alliance and the flying mechanic is very smooth. I know you can play it on the PC too, but it just feels right on the PS3.

I've only experienced a few slight pauses as the game loaded and the catapult effect from a giant, although I don't think that counts as a bug since it looks oddly familiar to getting blown sky high in Fallout 3. I also only payed about $40 for it since I bought it used in response to the Scrolls/Interplay situations, although I actually felt slightly guilty about that because it is a lot better than I thought it would be and well worth full price.

I think a good Superman would be the ultimate game of choice. Superman is practically invulnerable, but in a game that presented a situation in which a lot of people are in danger at the same time and you have to choose who to save and who to let die would really force players to step into the shoes of the supposedly boring, perfect hero and see that having ultimate power isn't as great as you might think. Add the element of Lex Luthor/Kryptonite, Darkseid, and other big villains to the c...

Until Nintendo of America releases Xenoblade, The Last Story, or Pandora's Tower they really should just say nothing. They blew it with the GameCube and now they're doing the same thing with the Wii. They may have sold a lot of systems, but their support for quality and variety in games is almost nonexistent.

I agree that PS2 games do look better on an actual PS2, but there is nothing wrong with buying used, especially if the game isn't available any other way. Some people don't have the money to buy new, but even if they do it's really their business how they spend it.

I personally prefer to buy new since I know it won't be missing anything when I open it, but sometimes you can't help it if you're buying an "old" game.

Does it ta...

This was a pretty cool read. The first HM game I played was on the GameBoy, so when I got HM64 I was overwhelmed by all of the things you could do. Since I never played the original title for the SNES everything except the basic elements seemed brand new and I've been playing them ever since.

I agree that they don't seem the same since the Game Cube titles, but I think the team got a shakeup, which is why they seem a little different. Overall, I think my favorite HM t...

This is why I wish I had a good enough PC to run Skyrim instead of having to buy it for the PS3. Anything developers can do, mods can make a lot better. It makes me wonder why modders aren't hired by these companies to make their next games better.

There are some games that are great on consoles, but games that have an abundant mod community, like TES, are a lot better on a good PC, and this is coming from someone who almost never plays games on a PC.
