I don't think that the giant (not a "giant troll" as the article suggests) hitting you and launching you into the air is a glitch. I think people were just caught by surprise that an enemy that early in the game could kill you with one hit.
In regards to the method of stealing via a bucket on the shopkeeper's head, why don't you try and keep an eye on what someone is doing after they've put a bucket on your head? That seems pretty realistic to me. <...
I don't know why I'm not having as many problems as some other PS3 players apparently are.
The only thing I can say is that I occasionally go through my Skyrim save files and delete all of the autosave files and only keep the saves I actually did myself. I don't know if this helps in any way since it autosaves again once I start playing, but it's worth a shot if you haven't tried this yet.
Also, it may be wise to only have one character i...
That's what I thought too when I saw those words, but at least they're trying. For a SE quality game it looks subpar, but for a game made by fans it looks pretty good to me.
@Baka-akaB
If you say so. I've never heard many complaints about the reliability of the PS2, but the internet does seem to bring the roaches out into the light.
Even so, $20-30 to repair compared to today. The PS2/Xbox/GC generation may not have been too long ago, but the components in those systems were simpler than what we have now. While I'd like to have systems that are 100% reliable I just don't see it happening with all of the things new sys...
That was funny, I never even thought about pickpocketing the briar heart before.
It's a pretty big stretch to compare the number of faulty Xbox 360s to the number of faulty PS2s. I never had a PS2 that didn't work right, but I know a lot of people who have had RROD.
I'm not trying to bash MS in saying this though because the fact of the matter is that consoles do a lot more these days than they have before, which is probably why an NES from the 80s still runs but 360s and PS3s have a risk of overheating and becoming useless.

"Kitase: Xbox market "important for us""
Tell us something we don't know. SE has been giving the PS3 the shaft this entire gen. Now if an article came out that said: "SE says "The PS3 will get more support from us"" I'd either think it was a joke article or SE lying again.
@dirigiblebill
I'm open to new ideas and improvements in sequels, but the controls in DA2 were definitely not an improvement in my opinion. Sometimes you can change too much in a game and end up making what seemed dated actually seem better compared to what you replaced it with. FFXIII seemed to have this problem too.
This is why I have no respect for the Geneva Conventions. They're on the same level as PETA now. Their "rules of war" only help the combatants who don't follow them. Sure, it makes our guys look better because they actually care, but it makes their jobs a lot harder than they have to be.
"The first game surprised many, becoming BioWare's biggest seller despite trading on some antiquated ideas."
Guess what, a lot of people actually like those "antiquated ideas". Why do you think a lot of people shunned the sequel when they realized the gameplay had changed?
"The second had a wobblier time of it, impressing critics but disappointing fans."
Yet more proof that critics don't represent everyon...
I think the best way to combat the idiocy that is the Spike TV VGA is to create a new awards show for video games for the real contributors. It doesn't have to be all glitz and glamor like Spike's monstrosity, just a show of appreciation for the people who work hard to bring us great games.
That reminds me of that old saying, "if your friends jumped off a bridge would you jump off the bridge too?"
I guess a lot of people jumped off that bridge this gen, and for the people who were banned from Xbox Live or had RROD they jumped off quite a few times. Perhaps the slogan for Xbox360 should have been "Jump Off" instead of "Jump In".
There may be more to this than just the melee stats, because my Breton character was more successful in speech skill attempts than my other characters of different races at the same point in the game.
Do they still make Tiger Electronic Handhelds?
I wish Cliff Bleszinski would go away.
I want to hear someone say "Never should have come here!" in Japanese.
I prefer to take Uthgerd the Unbroken with me, since she doesn't complain about carrying my stuff, but she does look pretty rough for a woman... and she's noticed my amulet of Mara. Needless to say my character is still unchained.
"What we think the PlayStation4 will look like."
An iPad viewed from the top down with the PlayStation logo plastered on the screen?
The whole article reads like a class report from a middle school student. It uses sentences that claim knowledge in things that the author knows nothing about.
"Why Sony’s PlayStation 4 won’t be what you assume."
What do you think I assume it will be?

The only image of the future that is plausible to me in all the realm of sci-fi is the world of Blade Runner. It's the only image of the future dirty enough and filled with enough advertisements to be realistic considering the real world we live in.
That being said, this is a Spider-man game, so I guess they needed more color than a world like that offers.
