If JRPGs try to mimic WRPGs they'll fall even further from what their fans want. There's a reason why JRPGs are different from WRPGs, and while a lot of RPG fans play both types not all WRPG fans like JRPGs and not all JRPG fans like WRPGs.
What SE needs to do to regain a lot of fans is cut the idea that they need to Westernize their games, not embrace the exact mindset that's brought them their problems in the first place. If I want to play a WRPG I'll buy on...
How about a Waluigi game?
I like Skyrim, but one of the first things I noticed in Riverwood was that Ralof and Hod had the exact same voice.
Why would China want to go to war with their biggest customer?
Apparently this article was written in the future and hand delivered by Doc Brown himself.
Dinner Date looks funny, but if I played it I'd probably just see what kind of silly things I could get the main character to do, like I did when I played Façade.
Pong?
I like this take on it better
I'll bet someone's already done 80 hours too, they just didn't have a camera around or cared about being a "record holder".
@Neko_Mega
I'm not saying you're lying, as I'm sure it's different depending on which GameStop you go to, but I can take some pictures of the PS2 games at the ones near me in a bin in paper envelopes. The guy working there even told me they had to do that to make room for the 3DS games.
Most GameStops have taken the discs out of the case and thrown them away, putting the PS2 games in paper sleeves and still expect people to buy them. Buy 2 get 2 may be a good deal if you can find some PS2 games that haven't been treated like this, but I usually go to local game shops for my "retro" game needs.
Is that Satoru Iwata playing Love Plus?
I hope NA gets the steelbook too, but we didn't for 4 so I won't get my hopes up.
Here's the missing audio from the first video.
Even if he isn't a native English speaker he has no excuse. Have you ever heard of Joseph Conrad?
Having more XBLA "exclusives" isn't necessarily a good thing, especially when those XBLA games aren't exactly top notch. Have you seen some of the XBLA Indie games? Sony has quality guidelines, but they're still pretty open about letting indie devs put games on the PSN.
Hopefully we'll see the NA and PAL box art soon too.
I think the complaint wasn't that it was bad, but that it looked almost exactly like the box art for Bad Company 2.
As technology progresses and games get more and more complicated it's nice to know that there will always be examples of bad box art.
$85? You can buy a Genesis and an SNES for well below that.
