LOL and that 300 FPS would almost be useless with most of todays displays tapping out at 60 FPS.
Even 99% of todays consumer level TVs touting 120, 240, 480 Hz are actually FAKE interpolated frames from 24p, 60p contents.

All it really needs is time.
It has the best feature set in its class for sure.

I promise you Sony.. I'll get the 2nd gen VITA (because the economy now is so lame and I need more killer titles for it).
The only problem with that is that most of the titles you've shown for the VITA are "IFs". Just "what ifs" at the moment.
W/o complete assurance the VITA can be unappealing since it's just a device that's full of "ifs" and "promises" (best hardware in class).
Needs more software and more assurance from devs to negate pricing.

For those who may not know, highest end PCs can do fine with 5760x1200 resolution.
