Two: In order to for Consoles to "catch up" in price is to buy tons of games but in reality you may only need/want/buy a few.
This is coming from a PC gamer that has an i5 2500k and 5870 2gb.
It's also a "tweaking" hobby more than gaming.

On a more serious note. I like the PC because of alt+tabbing.
Maybe it's because I have adhd :) gaming, alt tabbing to amazon, streaming sites and tech sites then straight back to gaming.
Now that I have a decent net book though, I can enjoy similar experience with my PS3.

I am pretty confident that this move (if true) is because Nintendo is very scared against the VITA.

Simple reasons:
Pricing (Got my 42 plasma 3D TV for 400 bucks though with x2 glasses if I bought from Frys last week).
3D Tech Growing Pains (flicker, reduced contrast, occasional artifacting, etc.)
3D will be here to stay even if it ain't for everyone. It just needs to sort out its major kinks atm.

Since I enjoy most games (consoles and PC).. Graphics is a huge defining factor.
"Most" current gen games are pretty enjoyable by my standards.
I welcome better hardware.
Maybe EA's considering budget and development hiccups with the inevitable hardware coming too soon.
My list:
Graphics: cuz I enjoy most games.. I get a real high with games that have amazing visuals.
Controller: WTF is with the L2 and R2? Also, make it more ergonomic and slightly bigger.
Web Browser: A decent one please. Even w/o flash. Better youtube support
"Arcade": throw in a free "kinect/move" in/with the main console. ("Casual" "movement" gaming is still a decent market)

I think so too like those fake screenshots that have crazy amounts of Anti Aliasing.. still for a 5-6 year old hardware? It will still have that "general" look and lighting with a good TV an optimal distance (to cover up for some sub par textures)
