It wasn't nice to know that Sony whooped people's asses for owning PSP UMDs and made the VITA one of the worse backwards compatibility modern console.
They barely learned from the PSP Go's failure.
Even all that said, I still think the VITA's still likely to have a decent future.. probably a late bloomer like the PS3.

Meh since the definition of a "real gamer" is subjective I'd rather say a real gamer has a strong positive attitude towards his choice of game.
I know a lot of people who don't have the time and money to go get all consoles but I do know they're passionate about their choice of games.

It's not there but I think Cage of Eden could be a decent material for a survival game.
Bunch of students, tourists, execs, employees plane crashes on a mysterious island with a lot of extinct and voracious animals .. with flavors of adventure, survival, betrayal, hope, romance, mystery, etc... and NO guns! xD
I don't think the price for the MMC (w/c is a MUST on the VITA) were announced at the time the crowd suddenly cheered.
"That" hidden platform cost alone is quite a turn off.
I like the VITA. It's just that I am not in a good financial situation to splurge 300 plus dollars (16 GB and a VITA game) right now just to game.

I just hope most AA graphically demanding games for the PS4 doesn't go below 1366 x 768 native @ solid 30 FPS with a good AA filter.

Me too. I've finished FO, played NV and finished Skyrim w/o any major hitches..
Then again my rig is mid tier (5870).
I love the dialogues on those games and would like Bethesda to make more. It's pretty engrossing.
There's so many ways of looking at this but I do feel bad for the Skyrim PS3 version. I hope they could still fix it.
