faster in a few cases.
So apparently it's faster to reorient your hands and fingers and swipe around the screen that having to press a button sitting a hair under your comfortably placed thumb.
Jeez you get disagrees for that? WOW
For consumer's sake even a 1 GB free card would be appreciated just to be able to boot up a lot of the VITA software.
Basically the VITA's min. cost = 270 dollars :(
Gaahh!! I hope this isn't gonna be like the last gen handheld wars because of Sony's pricing and hidden cost! :(
1 word:
SUBJECTIVE.
Still expensive atm.
Then again, I never was a first adopter.. I tend to wait for at least one price drop.
Hopefully the reason these proprietary cards are expensive atm is because of production issues.
It's still a tough pill to swallow.
I wish.. just wish ofc.. that the 16 gb was just 50 dollars tops.
How the heck are posters here bombed with disagrees who ask about Sony's projected sales/ sales target?
I would like to know as well.
@Kakihara..
err.. buddy.. forgive me for being too aggressive there for a moment.
As far as I am concerned, it would take very little effort on Sony's part to be able to implement physical button navigation w/c TOGETHER with touch implementation.
The VITA is supposed to give you option and the VITA isn't just a touch screen device.
Why not make full use of its potential? More importantly.. adding practicality.. FAR fr...
and gay..
that'd be ok.

because not having to re orient your fingers and thumbs is still more "ergonomic" on an interface like this.
Don't get me wrong, touch interface is GOOD for activities like PINCH zooming, NOT really needing a set of small physical qwerty keyboard for a small device and WEB NAVIGATION but try to do a change in perspective here:
W/c is SMARTER, more EFFICIENT, better PHYSICAL BALANCE and more "ERGONOMIC" to close a loaded app?
...
pet peeve warning.
Ok.
From the looks of it and some analysis, enabling physical button control is very sensible and requires less movement, hand travel and better physical balance.
Instead of having to re orient your fingers and hands everytime you want to do some navigating, you can just hold the product more naturally and comfortably w/ barely any motion as opposed to touch navigation.
At worst you may even feel having (NE...
Bring to PC please? LOL.. I can dream can't I?
Aww... no Aqua chick? I liked her :(
Hopefully VITA can get the real or better meat.. like a BBS sequel.
Hmmm okay.. Will it have offline map apps and netflix?
So I can force my family to get one xD
LOL brutal warlods with cute psuedo animals..
This should be good.
I did.
Seems like half of them don't want to use harsh words to console gamers and half barely can think what to say about pc gamers.
Amen.
You really miss out if you stick with one platform.
Then again, everything is subjective.
LOL Thanks that made my day! <-PC gamer 80%, PS3 gamer 20% :)
I love any kind of gamer!
While consoles become super computers.. PC mid range will become.. GODS!
Oh well.. Excited to see Tegra 30 LOL (for tablets)
Marketing is marketing.. good luck to these franchise :)
Hope MGSR has a lot of RPG elements since they're not really sticking to the MGS core mechanics.
LOL.. nice play with words :) It's still going to be very near that "zombie type games".
But that doesn't really matter as long as it's fun: decent story, decent gameplay, great graphics and an acceptable story line :)
I couldn't agree more.
And the "3DS was 250 too" argument doesn't make too much sense "now".
Both are now offered in the market so VITA pricing does matter and has some negative impact to it.
The 250 3DS was only really palatable for not having the VITA competition during that time.
OFC, what ultimately decides the winner is our "subjectiveness".
Unless Sony announces the...
