I think he is just having a real hard time rating the VITA games due to how close the experience it to a home console and slowly forget that it's JUST a portable game..
from a home console reference it's not really up to there yet.. (w/c VITA PR always touts)
from a portable device standpoint it probably quite above average..

Sadly, I really don't see the VITA picking up sales anytime soon because of how "fast improving and generally appealing" the other side of the portable industry.
Hardware will be completely left in the dust (probably already is) and broad software support is faster on the competition's devices. (Yes! They are likely to compete for the average person's ENTERTAINMENT device)
This device is such a niche market too (already proven by sales)...

I know of the 1st article and that isn't really in the "Nex 7/Kindle HD/VITA" price bracket.
The 2nd link could mean anything though.
They probably have at least an eye on the industry.. but I still think they'd be more focused on creating their versions of "Nexus 7" and "Kindle Fire HD" in the near future.
If anything, I see Apple being a more probable and scarier competition if ever it entered the gaming market for real.

For a 7 year old hardware to EVEN "step on a toe" of maxed out Crysis game on a higher end PC is a feat that shouldn't be taken lightly.
At a glance they look the same.
Upon closer inspection TLoU looks a bit better.. just a bit.
UC 3 definitely has a more color saturated theme while TLoU has it a bit toned down.. with TLoU also having a little bit better lighting and shadows in some areas.
KZ2 > KZ3 ... The low contrast was really beatiful.. KZ3 graphics looks a bit "different".. the mix of contrast didn't have that impact for me. KZ 2 had a very unique graphical presentation also with its gun fov and swerves.
This Halo 4 graphics doesn't look THAT amazing nor unique compared to GoW 3, KZ 2, Crysis 1/2, BF3 graphical presentation..

AFAIK pc have more hackers because apparently this game can be tweaked on the client side and have an effect for PVP.. yes vague here so u don't get much ideas.
PC has "trainer" too. It's easier to experiment with PC.
Much better experience too if you have a good PC, 60 fps sharper graphics.
but if u really love love love PVP.. I think you have lesser blatant hackers for the consoles.

IDK.. I seem to have a mixed reaction with these games.
Am ofc glad that VITA's getting more games but I hope we also get games that make good use of vita's tactile buttons. This look like just a tablet game. Then again maybe there's a different perspective when out of combat? (like Sol Trigger)

In terms of sales i'm sure the Wii U will pretty much be in the lead.. unless the next PS360 are as cheap but have much better hardware.
Since "quality" is so subjective, the numbers are still a pretty good indication.
Interpreters and good word (articles, ads) can change perspectives of consumers.. again subjective: can convince ppl if it's a "meh" or a "great" game.
Comparison of titles within that genre is important too. You need reference.

The market has already spoken who's really into specifically an expensive portable, heavy gaming platform (a specialized/small market).. that's what I meant by niche.
