Comparable yes. Crysis mods and Skyrim mods on high end (highest end to enable good amounts of AA) PCs look better than some CGIs done 10 years ago.
It may not be directly comparable to pre-renders but the visual impact from modern graphics are pretty great.

Part 2 was really lacking in the map department but have you guys seen the nightmare runs w/o pause on youtube? It's pretty exciting and fun to play.
The requirement for that wasn't just button mashing but awesome strategy via Tactics commands.
I did appreciate the flashiness of 2 but surely missed the expanse of the 1st (story and scope).

Sony should learn from the PS VITA situation.. Awesome hardware but too expensive for the current market.

But isn't the GPU and RAM a somewhat better than the PS360s? Not to mention the tablet-ish device doesn't seem too cheap. Aren't regular PS360 controllers 40+ dollars and I am sure the components of those are cheaper.
Also it's optical must be above average too since I hear it uses 25 GB discs (I am guessing a BD Drive with low licensing and therefore won't play BD movies).
I hope there'd be more vocal people like you so our future consoles would have NO backwards compatibility and let these big companies keep on releasing these so called "classics".. It's always fun to pay twice for basically the same thing.
