Graphics do matter.
Games need good one depending on the "current standard" and gameplay.
It's all relative.
Sony kept advertising it as a "PS3 on the go".
Compared to the PS3 titles, those are objectively lack luster.
BUT COMPARED TO THE REST OF THE MOBILE INDUSTRY, they're pretty darn good.

Don't let it get into you much.
The verdict is obvious: Not worth the current asking price (unless you're an FPS portable enthusiast that needs tactile control and serviceable MP.. and have decent salary).

I would actually prefer that.. or at least just port the freaking campaign of the 1st one.
I do see some light where it actually may be the BEST FPS for TACTILE handhelds.. but that's not saying much. :(
And if they do port the 1st COD.. People'd be complaining as f*** as well.. screaming: VITA = Meh = PORT machine *thumbs down*

A total rip-off for 50 dollars.
MP looks serviceable though but not for 50 dollars.
Since Nihilistic is going away.. Does that mean the MP support and patches will be dropped asap?

To be fair, Crysis 2 had the much more contrasting colors compared to BF3's Blue Tint (the community even made a patch for this) and KZ's Red/Brown Tint.
New York isn't the problem, it's the damned shrinked explorable surface area and vestigial vehicles that ruined it.. Crysis 1 was superior and know for these areas.
There was even an article where Cevat admitted that it would have been a different game if they still focused on the PC.

The 2D art of the game is really gorgeous. I wish it had some voice acting.
The game seems pretty grindy though (just in for 2-3 hours).. and I find the pace a little slow. It should have had the "fast forward" option like in "Yggdra Union" (w/c this game is very similar with).
I like how I can save in battle though.. if I made a mistake I can just re-load :P

I bet that the campaign won't be even near as "epic"(cinematic) as the the 1st "Modern" CoD.
It's pretty sad that Modern Combat 3 looks better.

The 2D character renditions off-gameplay are wonderful.. I wish they just used sprites for the in-game battles.
