Yes. They are not made up. VGChartz gets sales data from some retailers and extrapolates that.
Agreed. The attach ratio is insane.
Sales are good, especially compared to Wii U and Xbox One. However, it is not keeping up with pace of the Wii in its peak.
@randomass171: All 3 of the consoles have some problems. However, nowadays they will all be able to fix a lot of the problems with patches. The OS on the Xbox 360 now, is very different from the blades that it launched with.
This person comment first on everything?
500,000 for the summer is impressive. Only the Wii did better in its peak years.
Yeah, Sony has done everything right with the PS4.
Agreed! Sony was able to overcome its bad start.
Agreed! It is less than 3 million behind the Wii. Which is amazing considering how far ahead the Wii was at its peaks.
The console market has shrunk a lot in Japan the last generation. However, it is still early in the 8th gen. Anything can happen.
All those games will help boost sales of the 3DS a lot. One AAA title will temporarily boost sales, but several over a short period of time will boost sales over a much longer period.
That should definitely help boost sales as well in Japan.
Agreed.
The game does look like a lot of fun.
This is retail only. Nintendo figures include digital sales.
Nintendo always has the bestselling games for its consoles. It is a different story for Sony and Microsoft.
USA is the only place where sales are pretty even between the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. But everywhere else the PlayStation 4 has a big lead.
PS4 US Sales: 2,110,633
Xbox One US Sales: 1,944,688
These figures are for just November.
While that is true the Xbox One and PS4 both sold more than the Wii U did in its launch. The Wii U sold just over 1 million units when it launched and that is including Japan.
Titanfall was a lot of fun. However, what hurt it was the lack of a real campaign.
