Jesus what is up with you? These systems can coexist just fine. Does the existence of the Wii U bother you that much? Or do you just hate people who like the wii U?
Didn't realize it was "horrible" where as a black man I have found a community where I can be certain people won't shout the "N" word or write it in messages like I have experienced on PSN/XBL. Guess that makes me a "kiddo" to want that stuff to be removed. I know this is the real world and that stuff happens, but it doesn't belong in gaming so I'm glad Nintendo has that.

yeah idk why anyone expected that to be a thing. Either way with my PS4+Vita and Wii U, the amount of netflix watching, awesome gameplaying, web surfing combinations I will have next year will be almost sickening.
One thing I can say is I have run into no racist or anti-semetic comments on the Wii U which is refreshing. This is over voice chat too not just miiverse where things are moderated. Those only happen every once in a while on my 360 or PS3, but that is still too much.

The demo for this was very fun so I'm excited for the final product.
I truly don't think it is. I think they will see a slight boost this holiday, but I believe the Wii U will sell much more in 2014 as XB1 and PS4 catch their stride and the biggest software names come out. I think by the end of this generation a good number of gamers will have a Wii U sitting next to their PS4, XB1, or PC.
I think you are putting an unnecessary urgency on the situation though. I understand that you don't have enough money for both, but everyone who is getting a Wii U doesn't need to do it this holiday. They just need to sell a bit more, and I think they will see a slight bump because there is some better software coming out this fall, and though only slightly, they are still the cheapest option.

You are def entitled to your opinion, but I respectfully disagree. The gamepad allows for off-tv play when you are sharing the TV with other people is a luxury that I wish was implemented with all my other consoles. My brother and nephews also have a Wii U and a 360 and PS3. I asked him about the issue of sharing and he said they fight with it just as much as any other game regardless of the gamepad. Then the players who got to enjoy it were better off than they would have been if Nintendo never picked it up in the first place. Though I think this may do quite well. I also have a few friends who have been holding out for this game just to buy their Wii U, and then there are a slew of other Wii U owners who just want something to play so they will pick it up even if they have no familiarity with the series.
It was revived by nintendo so there would be no logic in blaming them for the franchise dying. That would be like being blamed for murder for shooting a corpse. It is funny people keep trying to spin this on to Nintendo fans.
