Gamecube brought profit for Nintendo. Just cuz a console doesn't sell the best in the generation or more than its predecessor, doesn't mean it is dead. Only drama queen gamers would think that.

I can't say for sure but it seems like to me Nintendo isn't intentionally just trying to screw gamers over. If anything they overestimated everything about the Wii U. It actually is not. It would be if it cost $400 to get both the PS4 and Vita, but I have a feeling that won't happen. At least not for a while. The funny thing is as much as I have heard people cry out gimmick for the gamepad I would assume that there are a lot of people who are either hypocrites or don't care much for this feature. I for one am glad however because I already have a vita and hope this is more intentional than it was for PS3.

Stock isn't the only focus that a company should have. Also it may not be the most important factor depending on a company's mission. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think he was hinting to the fact that the wii obtained by far the highest demographic of gamers over 60 which would be true. But I am not one to play the maturity in games game. There is a depth in Nintendo games that can appeal to all ages with a simplicity in gaming that makes their games easy to pick up. Seriously gaming media is some of the most dramatic bull crap coming second only to political media. It seems consoles can either destroy other consoles, or fail. That's pretty cut and dry from a business system that, at least for these 3 companies, has been in place over the last 2 decades. These consoles may not be as successful or whatever you want to call it, but they will be just fine.
I don't think you have one. You say it isn't good because it doesn't have any games, but then why would you get one? If you have that much of a problem finding why someone would think it is a good system then you are an idiot for buying one yourself.
