I don't think anyone said they do. That's not the issue here though.
@The_Hooligan I would assume wired would have less latency, but there’s no noticeable difference from what I’ve observed, and controllers tend to be wireless nowadays.
Remind me to stay as far on the fringe of that dumpster fire as humanly possible. I suppose if I had sense I wouldn't be here period, but doing more worthwhile things is for people with lives, so...I'll probably still be here in 2020, and possibly contributing to that dumpster fire...because apparently hypocrisy is the spice of life these days.
This is evolution? *Contemplates where the human race is at in this day and age.* You know what? We as a species engage in far worse pastimes than bickering about videogame consoles, so this isn't even close to the worst measure of how pitiful the human race has become. Not by a longshot.
Well, it's the dev kit design, and this probably isn't what the console will look like. It is neat to see what dev kits look like though.
"Broader markets" who like Japanese games own systems more of those games come to and often stay exclusive to. Just saying.
Is war the term we use now for a one-sided massacre?
This and ports (or remakes) of all the Ratchet and Clank games would be neat.
With what studios? I'm serious, what studios does Disney have to make games with? If games are a venture they're serious about and they don't want to continue licensing their IPs out to third parties they need a studio or two with which to make games. Failing that, contracting other devs is their best option. They should ditch EA though. Nothing good comes from dealing with such a vile company.
I don't always follow technobabble, but higher numbers usually means better performance. As this particular article is number-free, it's a little more difficult to follow, but latency is actually a rare example of a figure that's best being as low as possible as it's the time it takes between button pressing and the input to be registered. That other stuff I don't follow, but better generated code should mean more and better things can be done with the code. What I'...
I congratulate Sony on that too...although it means a lot more coming from a big corporation than from one random guy.
For my Super Mario World will forever be the greatest Mario title, but 3 is a pretty great game in its own right.
I miss Jersey Devil.
I think it has more to do with the fact that you made your post in a thread for one of the English VAs, and the way you phrased it kind of came off as a bit...trollish. If it was a misunderstanding fair enough, but context can make all the difference in how someone perceives your comment.
How much are journalists paid to talk up things no gamer, or even informed casual consumer would ever be in favour of? Here's a revolutionary idea: how about, upon purchasing a product, you're entitled to the full product and all the content that entails? If a company wants to add new content via DLC, that's different, and it's up to the company if they want to charge for that, but in-game purchases should be banned unless that's the only way a game is making money, whic...
Actually, if you want to get really technical, it’s エアリス, which is spelled Earisu in romaji. Japanese is less versatile than English in terms of the sounds that can be made with it, and there is that pesky rule that consonants almost always need to be accompanied by a vowel, so there are quite a few different ways it could be translated into our language.
The Su at the end can be translated as just an S. There is no Th in the Japanese language, but it’s not far enough rem...
@Juusterey For what it’s worth I’m a mult-system owner. Do you hear me begging for PC or Switch exclusives to come to the PS4? While it would be nice to play them on my system of choice, I’m not too put out.
Because there are more great games in our future.
Yeah, Google, you rock those...multiplats...that are on other systems...with no latency issues. Whoo? How much did Google pay the media to hype up their product?
@joab777 Don't invoke Black Mirror! It's a great show, but it does make one think about the consequences of living in an increasingly high-tech world. I'm imagining a future where people are able to replace their body with mechanical parts, and that scares me. Forget Skynet. SJW cyborgs may be in our future! Non-binary may be the new trans! What would we even call those people? I'm not well-versed in non-binary pronouns and don't want to have to learn them!
