At the very least there’s no denying that it can possibly get people into the habit of gambling, and I would think that people who are trying to get over gambling problems would not want something like this accessible in their homes of all places.
War? RoFL. It has long since been won. This is just another nail in the coffin for the competition.
Only if we let it. I for one will continue to support more traditional forms of game distribution.
Oh man. This game is in my backlog. Both sides of my family have been impacted by a suicide, and it's always sad to hear about.
I'm personally not bothered by casuals who port beg. I find it more entertaining than anything.
JRPG lovers who don’t invest in systems that play exclusive JRPGs and feel the need to port beg?
But that would be 99% of Gamingbolt’s articles. They’d be better off having a section called “not says dev”, to set aside the few articles they write that aren’t that.
When people complain that loot boxes are like gambling, they’re not insinuating that games should have something more on the nose implemented in them. At least they’re not trying to hide that their game has gambling. I’d still love to see the comments section of a response article where 2K tries to “clarify” this slot machine mechanic. Make it happen 2K, so I can make further fun of you.
It’s not just Australian retailers who think that.
I’m sorry...what?
@pleasuretokill That’s exactly why I don’t support them either. I like the idea of there being more competition for Steam but I do not like how they go about bringing that competition, at all. Most of the “exclusives” they secure are available on consoles anyways, so I don’t have to give them money.
I’ll continue to support Steam, and ignore EGS. Thanks Ubisoft. Your statement would mean more coming from a less crooked company that makes better games.
Neither of these games are first party...but, they both look interesting and I guess it comes down to what platforms you own and whether you are into secret agents or anime cops. I confess I haven't picked up either yet. Also, I need more money, there are too many intriguing titles coming out.
A regular Switch can’t play Pokémon? Also, using that Pokeball accessory for Let’s Go with a Lite would be a less than ideal experience I would think. Thanks for trying to explain it to me at least but I still lack sufficient data...
It's $100 cheaper and slightly smaller. That's it. It has 30 extra minutes of battery time over the old model Switches, but the new models have 2 hours more battery life than the Lites. Moreover, it does not have all the features of a "premium console". Heck, it doesn't even come in red or black. The appeal of the Lite will forever be a mystery to me, but to each their own.
It does say "multiple versions", so it seems like both console versions will be included.
That flying carpet level used to give me nightmares as a kid...until I got good. Back in the day I guess I was dedicated to playing the few games I had over and over, so I got really good at games that should have been difficult. I never did beat Biohazard Battle though...that's still a personal demon I have yet to conquer.
In any case, you probably wouldn't be cut out for the no-apples runs I did with Aladdin where I wouldn't use apples. I probably won'...
Who owns Tiny Toons again? Even if Disney has renewed ties with Capcom, there may still be a licensing hurdle where that is concerned.
I'm assuming between this and the Disney Afternoon Collection that Disney and Capcom have renewed their ties, or neither of these collections would have been possible (because licensing is a load of BS and the main reason why a lot of games will never be ported over). So, it's possible this won't be the last collection we get.
According to the article: "The original soundtracks and SNES/Genesis versions will be included." So, I guess we will be gettin...
Stardew Valley is the best spiritual successor to Back to Nature I could have asked for. I would welcome a spiritual follow-up to that. I also like the idea of having one set on an island after a shipwreck, so this really appeals to me.
