As an OG PS4 owner, I agree. I've never had a problem with how games perform either.

With PC you also save money on PC titles, especially on services like Steam. There's the initial price of admission, but after that it will save you money in the long run (seriously, the exact same game on PS4 sometimes costs more). Also, there are a lot of PC exclusive titles, especially if you're into indie games.

On the other hand, you need to do your research before getting a PC, which is something you don't really need to worry about with consoles. Also,...

It wasn't already on life support?

Sometimes the game itself is the biggest troll. Is that a hint that this might be one such game?

I’m sure someone who’s pro enough can win with pretty much anything, but what they use as a controller can make all the difference as certain control schemes are better suited than others for optimal performance at certain types of games. A really good player may still pull off an epic win regardless of the controls being used, but I’m sure even most pros look into what would give them the best edge.

I’m having flashbacks to that amazing LGR vid from a few years back where he plays Fallout 4 on a really old black and white CRT TV using multiple adapters just to make it work. I never would have thought to try a CRT of any kind for modern gaming but it’s neat to hear about when people try it.

@VenomUK That's a good point. It's probably worth noting that it has never occurred to me to try and read every book ever written or even to try to watch every movie ever made. So...maybe it shouldn't be all that surprising that there are too many games for one person to play in a lifetime too.

You're just figuring that out now? Lucky you. I accepted that I'll never be able to ascend to the summit of Mt. Backlog a good decade ago.

Sounds like just the thing games journalists and individuals with ADHD will hate, while those with patience will enjoy a rewarding experience. Sign me up.

They needed a good exclusive this year and got it, but it will take a lot more than that to compete with Sony. The thing is, there are plenty of solid PS4 exclusives, and the same will surely be true with the PS5. Also, the XB1 lost this gen. That ship has long since sailed. One game isn't going to more than double the system's lifetime sales in what little time remains in this gen. If this becomes a cross-gen title and gets a Scarlet port then maybe it is an asset going into nex...

Well, if you end up being satisfied with your purchase you won't have to fret over whether there will be a sequel in the future.

Possibly, but I think Sony should keep doing what they're doing and not just follow something a competitor (who by the way is slated for a distant third in the console war) is doing. MS has done things that have worked for them and this is one of them, but Sony has done things that have worked even better for them. If they see the value in doing something similar they might try their hand at it, but if they don't, life goes on and millions more PlayStations get sold.

But if there's ever a game people want to own physically it's a remaster of a popular classic, and you'll have to offer the moon to get them to change their mind.

The company that has decades of games under its belt?

Wasn't there just an article about the exact same thing? I see...but it's X as far as the vast majority of people are concerned so whatever. Oh well, if you want a real sideshow attraction I'm friends with the only individual I've ever known who calls the circle button "zero".

Why is this a thing? People should not have to die or be put at risk just because they're better than someone else at a game.

Who else thinks it’s a sad indicator of the state of things when companies have to specify that everything you buy physically will be physically included? The future, everyone.

I never would have thought a Borderlands game would feel like Borderlands.

Well, if I ever come down with a terminal illness I sure as heck won’t be pushing myself to run a marathon, especially if I’m in a lot of pain. I could see myself taking one last trip somewhere while I’m still well enough but once that ship has sailed, I’ll take my virtual escapism, thank you.

Not here anyways. Apparently it's often called the cross button in Europe though.
