I'm glad I'm not alone in wanting Nintendo to just roll out a Switch VC.
Unsurprisingly, the results of the quiz said I should just stick with a real Switch.
Since when was that ever the case? Give me games please, and if they look fantastic then so much the better, but give me games first and foremost.
Because they can now play Link’s Awakening on the Switch. Updated visuals don’t hurt either.
I’m sure it will shed light on which sites have quality reviewers, and which sites are just in it for clicks and/or get a sizeable portion of their revenue from MS.
This again, huh? Must be a slow day for news. Yes, crossplay is a nice feature to have, but nothing should be a requirement for devs, and not every game has the personnel and resources behind it that Fortnite does.
I liked that we could use the Batmobile, but for me it was way over-used. Maybe there’s a balance that the devs could have struck with a handful of Batmobile missions that were all top-notch while the rest of the game played out in a more traditional manner. Quality over quantity.
Which is a trend I dislike, and companies have clearly learned that fighting games lend themselves really well to releasing content over time rather than just having a complete game at launch. I mean, they’re not wrong, but it’s not the most pro-consumer model.
It does if you want quality and like owning your games or at least having indefinite access to them with or without internet connectivity.
Hi Forbes. Bye Forbes.
Their numbers are that bad, huh?
So...your username is a misnomer then.
I find it funny that a lot of the games being ported to this thing are older titles, and hardware wise it can only run current gen titles, which is to say...the gen is ending soon! Seriously. The PS5 and Scarlet are around the corner, and as far as I know this PoS won't be able to run the kinds of games those systems can. Sure, the Switch won't be able to either, but at least that's a system that has a lot more going for it than just a service. I really don't understand wh...
You know what would be more accessible to play anywhere? Getting a Switch and downloading games to the system or even buying physical games and carrying a case around so you don't have to have an internent connection to play any of its games. That way you could literally go out in the middle of nowhere and play your games on a camping trip or something. This concept has literally been a thing for as long as handheld gaming has existed. Your way requires you to be able to connect to som...
You could just go to a store and get a new controller for your console of choice, many of which you can also get to work on PC. Why do you need to buy a PoS to go with it?
I was wondering if a week would pass without another one of these articles. I personally think the PS4 is the best console, but the Switch is a decent system in its own right. What I don't understand is why Nintendo fans are so keen on asserting their opinion that their console is the best over and over again. Is it not possible to enjoy your Switch if the majority of people don't agree with you that it's the best console? I for one play games, not sales figures or popular opi...
All the more reason why I’m a two-brand kind of guy, at least when it comes to consoles.
Agreed. I own both and play on both. I personally like the comfort of my PS4 so I use that most of the time, but there are plenty of PC exclusives I've enjoyed that I wouldn't have otherwise, or games that play or control better on PC, are cheaper on PC, uncensored on PC or have exclusive content on PC, or some combination of any of these things. I'm really not the most tech savvy, but even I can use Steam.
I've also managed to get a Dualshock 4 working...
There are people out there who should just be banned from having technology, like my friend who called me over to help him because his XB1 "wasn't working" only for me to find he did not plug it into his TV. I legit facepalmed. He's the only individual I know who managed to screw up an iPad too. To make matters worse, he will text me about his problems instead of Googling them like a normal person. Yeah...the law needs to be changed so that certain people are fined for h...
I sincerely hope remakes aren't the only way we will be able to play Zelda titles on the Switch, but since Nintendo changed their stance on retro porting for the worse, I guess we will have to make due with what we can get. That said, I would legit Day 1 remakes of the Oracle games.
