I’m sorry, what? It’s a cool feature but not using it isn’t lazy. For one thing multiplats have to be configured to have that feature only on PS4 where it’s possible. It’s understandable that the feature is underused and why exclusives are more likely to take advantage of it (as those games are built specifically for the PS4).
I like when games make use of that feature. I find it kind of neat and wish it was used more often.
And I'm terribly sorry that they have to work for Activision. It's bad enough they have to sometimes put long hours in to get their games out, but now the company is using them to try to make us feel bad for any criticism we level their way.

I see. Thanks for clearing that up. I did not know that particular detail, which just makes it even more unlikely for a Spider-Man game to be multiplat going forward.

I want what this author is smoking...actually, no I don't. Something that would make me want a Stadia based on existing multiplats would probably give me permanent brain damage.
Epic really wants people to love them, but rather than trying to convince people to stick with them based on the quality of their service (which really ought to be improved), they have resorted to other means such as giving games away for free.

Marvel would have to pull the license and give it to someone else, and even if that were to happen it would likely not be a continuation of this particular series, and would instead be its own tie-in to the Spider-Man franchise. As someone who plays a wide variety of games with all sorts of different styles of gameplay, it looks interesting enough to me. I may be an exception though as I'm not married to any one particular type of game.
He could have a PS4 but prefer another system, hence the term "system of choice". My PS4 is my system of choice, but that may not be the case with everyone. I'll make due if a game is exclusive to another system I own though. I don't keep other devices around just because, and I sure as heck wouldn't let something like that influence my opinion of a game.
