I see. I have since read the article. A rather unfortunate description makes it sound click-baity and a complete waste of time.
Oh, it’s another one of those “Switch version of ____ is the best version because it’s portable” articles. Next.
It has been time for a long time now. Any company that exploits gamers should be called out for it.
Sometimes even us non-psychopaths like to have fun at the expense of NPCs in a virtual world. So long as no one goes out and does this stuff IRL it’s all cool.
It’s dead. It’s been dead for ages. How is it that the so-called “professionals” in the games media aren’t aware of this fact?
I actually like when remakes deviate a little from the original as if I wanted to play the original...I could just do that. Besides, it’s an opportunity to improve and expand upon the original experience, while still staying true to what made it great to begin with.
Sadly, I don't think it was going to get the attention it deserves anyways. I for one saw the words "Spike Chunsoft" and "by the series director of Zero Escape" and I knew I had to pre-order the collector's edition.
Games journalists tend to be more "confused" if something is done by Sony than if it is done by other companies. I call this phenomenon the hypocrisy effect.
It was only a matter of time, but congrats nonetheless.
This.^ Maybe some of us come here to escape from the BS out there in the rest of the world that we can get from the mainstream news. @lio_convoy If you aren't interested in gaming news...I probably wouldn't recommend this site to you.
To the surprise of no one.
Because it’s not Battlefield? It’s a different game made by a different studio. There may be similarities but there will always be differences if you examine these games closely enough.
@deno I’m no scientist, but I’ll let the scientific community deal with their own politics as no one else has the time for that. Lulz. I’m more inclined to think that if the vast majority of people who dedicate their lives to a subject and know a lot about it feel one way they’re more likely to be correct, but to each their own.
You’re certainly right that a nuke would certainly have much worse ramifications though than daily commutes, and yeah, there are other issues tha...
Agreed, and this is one rare instance of marketing that saves lives.
Ummm...when did the article mention anything about not requiring the game to be saved to the system like every other PS4 title?
To my understanding PS4 discs can hold a ton of data, and Naughty Dog know how to best optimize their software for the PS4 and its physical media format, so this must be an indication of how huge the game is.
Agreed. I mean, I think this thing is a PoS and if Nintendo fanboys cry over my opinion than whatever. It is true that I do have some fondness for Nintendo but not to the point that I won't criticize something they do that I'm not a fan of, and I also don't feel the need to justify that to people as my opinions on console manufacturers are my opinions and if others disagree, well, that's their opinion. In any case, Nintendo fans certainly are among the worst for accepting a...
Lulz. Are we entering into another era where kart racers tied to many different franchises are released? Because if so...I'm indifferent towards this, but I'll be mildly interested to hear if any of these titles are any good. It is kind of a neat throwback to the late 90s/early 2000s mind you when these types of games were quite commonplace (this particular title wouldn't have sounded at all out of place if it were announced back then).
Ummm...no, it's not. Global warming is still a term being used, and you really shouldn't generalize all scientists, who by the way have spent way more time thinking about a particular topic and know way more about it than either you or I ever will, just because there may or may not be individuals in the scientific field who twist narratives and/or falsify data to benefit their agenda.
Global warming is just a far more limited term as it deals with temperature and...
It doesn't actually appear to be the case at all that the creator is trying to push some kind of political agenda here. This journalist on the other hand...
I also do not share the opinion that merely having a gay character means there's necessarily any commentary beyond...just the existence of a gay character. Besides, it's usually pretty easy to tell before long where the focus of a narrative lies. I have faith that the story of this game will focus on all ...
