Hopefully Jill's STARS line at the end of the game isn't changed like that time the first remake messed with the Jill Sandwich line. There's a reason why the modified sandwich line is non-canon and the original is what's acknowledged in Revelations 2. Maybe I'm just too overly fond of cheesy lines from retro games.
I agree. I hate lifeless worlds in games. They make traversing them that much more of a chore. If they're full of life though and offer fun and meaningful ways to interact with them, it can be that much more enjoyable to stop and smell the roses. I'm not actually suggesting devs should add a rose-smelling mechanic, though that is one of many things they can add to make a world more interactive.
I think the mean is 35 actually. But why are so many adults gamers? Could it be because they grew up with videogames and still love them as a pastime? Sure, I cannot understand why so many companies (including the Big 3) are afraid of having games with AO ratings as there clearly would be a market for such titles. Yeah, and that's the main reason why I never get the latest model. A slight upgrade over a much cheaper option is rarely a worthwhile enough investment for me.
This article isn't about the brand though and that's not what should be taken away from this. Anyone who spends that kind of money on any kind of phone is a sheep IMHO. There are way cheaper options out there and no phone has ever been worth that to me.
Yeah...but I've never paid anywhere near a fraction of that for a phone and cannot fathom why anyone would. That's all markup because there are suckers who will line up to part with that kind of money. Not me though. If I enter into a new contract I'll often not go for the absolute latest model either as there's usually a previous model that's still fairly recent and is available for $0 down on a three year contract.
Consoles that have been around for a while aren't a terrible gift though. Actually, being late to the party can be a great thing as a system will have had plenty of time to build up a library of games, many of which will be available at affordable prices because they will have been out for some time.
But it ended on a good note. In theory the series can continue with Cassie, but ND has a history of wrapping up series and moving on to the next thing, no matter how popular it was. People complained about them moving on from Jak and Daxter, but if they hadn't then we wouldn't have had Uncharted. I have faith that whatever ND does next will be great too, and we will always have the existing Uncharted games.

I think RE4 has aged well enough. Just continuing to port it to systems is fine. CVX could use a remake though.
I stopped rushing through games ages ago. I’m not going to get through my backlog in my lifetime so there’s no point in trying. Besides, I buy games to enjoy them, and that does mean stopping to smell the roses.
Dead on announcement? Yeah, I agree. I would agree with arrival too, but what arrival? I literally have no idea where one would even go to get this turd in my region as I have yet to see it at all in stores.
There was Stadia hype? I must have missed that. I saw a bunch of articles talking it up and trying to build hype. None of them seemed to succeed.

Ugh...I’m way more of a PlayStation guy but I’ve always referred to the XB1 as...XB1, even when criticizing it as I don’t like calling it Xbone. I guess next gen will be a similar story in that regard.
I don’t think the name is what killed the Wii U. People bought a Wii in droves in spite of the dumb name, and adding a U on the end doesn’t make it sound that much dumber. No, I think it was the whole tablet gimmick that killed it.

It's a start but it will take more than one game to make me consider buying a system. I have no qualms about pre-ordering a PlayStation because I know there will be a ton of exclusives worth playing that will come my way. With a Xbox...I'm less sure.
Yes. Lack of quality has more to do with devs realizing they can charge for what they used to give away for free, and reserving their best work for paid content. But I'll take free content regardless, if it's available.
