I guess it depends on whether you ever have any intention of buying a physical game. With consoles I often purchase physical releases of full-retail titles, and some indie titles if those pop up. While I have been embracing digital more as time marches on for its convenience, an all-digital console wouldn't be a good fit for me.
Moreover, I'm a clear believer in having as much functionality as possible, rather than less, even if I don't necessarily plan to m...
Well, barring any commitment to game development on their part, taking up publishing of any kind is an improvement to just releasing pachinko machines and ignoring any outcry for more games.
Because I would imagine not everyone has played it. There are probably a lot of people who weren't acquainted with the series back in the PS2 days, and never had a Vita. Failing that, there was no other way to play Persona 4 until now. So, now's their opportunity.
Yeah, this game is old, but be that as it may, some people may not have played it. I know when I consume any kind of media, I like to go in as blind as possible and I despise spoilers. I don't care how old the work is. If I haven't checked it out, it's new to me. For example, a friend of mine convinced me to check out an H.P. Lovecraft tome, with stories ranging from 84 years to over a century old, and I would want to murder someone if they spoiled any of it for me. I'm s...
I surprisingly still haven't played this game, but I'm hearing it's fantastic, so maybe I should. That said, to label something as the best game in *insert genre here* is not something to say lightly. So, you think it's better than the Persona games or Chrono Trigger? Heck, you say RPG, not just JRPG, so you also think it's better than the original Mass Effect Trilogy or Skyrim? You've piqued my interest though. With such a glowing review, maybe it's high time ...
Indeed. I've been searching for a Metroidvania that's similar enough to Hollow Knight to scratch the same itch, but it just hasn't worked out that way. A sequel is just what I need.
Math is hard for some people.
I’d love a Crash Bash remake. I guess that’s non-canon now though...
I'm in.
This is apparently going to be a new canon that acknowledges the first three games (and CTR) but ignores everything after them.
At this rate we may as well complain that people with zero combat experience are poorly represented in games. Just think about how progressive a FPS could be if it starred someone who had never shot a gun in their life! /s
I'm picturing obese versions of various characters. Many of them don't make it very far. Physics just isn't very kind to them.
Poor Crunch is erased from the new canon (or more specifically never existed in it to begin with). If this is true though, I'm looking forward to it.
I agree. Hey, at least things are looking up...somewhat. Being a Kingdom Hearts fan prior to the collections we've been getting was a whole other level of frustration.
Dude, I just wrote a satire post and realized I posted it in a comments section for a two day old article that probably won't get seen. So...I'll just be lazy and copy/paste it here:
"I'm still holding out for Kingdom Hearts Pi Divided by Mole, presented with at least one symbol not found on a typical keyboard, and which is correctly pronounced as 3.14 over 6.02x10 to the 23rd. It will contain very important story, without which you would be completely los...
I'm still holding out for Kingdom Hearts Pi Divided by Mole, presented with at least one symbol not found on a typical keyboard, and which is correctly pronounced as 3.14 over 6.02x10 to the 23rd. It will contain very important story, without which you would be completely lost in Kingdom Hearts Pythagoras Theorem, which will in turn be very important if you want to follow the plot in Kingdom Hearts We Didn't Smoke Drugs While Coming Up With This Name We Swear, which will in turn be v...
At least it beats the old days, when we had to make a list of systems to own if we wanted to keep up with every KH game, or resort to other methods such as investing in a manga adaptation. Moreover, in the days before Amazon we had to hope stores had everything we needed. It was almost as bad as .hack// in its day. At least it primarily stuck to the videogame medium, but it was still way more aggravating to follow than a series with Disney characters needed to be, especially for those of u...
If I had more money, I'd do that all the time. As it stands, I usually buy games only once, though I have gone the other way on occasion, and bought physical copies I came across of some of my favourite indie games that I already had digitally. That Stardew Valley copy I got came with a map.
WTF? That disparity doesn't exist in my region, but you should clearly go with what's cheaper. I didn't realize Ireland used Euros, so I learned something new today. Neat.
