Yeah...I'm still not buying this, especially since it's far easier to see trophies/achievements on the PS4 and XB1 without even needing to check another device.
So, that's their excuse for the XB1's significant drop in sales vs its predecessor? Sure.
There are also likely dedicated fans who didn't know about the controversy going in, as GF had them with "New Pokemon games!" Some people prefer to go into games blind, so they avoid details on upcoming titles in their favourite series.
Ha! Call me if it even comes close to matching the golden years of the first three titles.
Chase sequences annoy me, whether it's trying to run from something, or worse, trying to catch someone or something. If it's a driving sequence it's often even worse. Water stages also annoy me, although I've seen a lot less of those lately.
I look forward to it.
Maybe it’s because when MS does it, it’s a much larger chunk of their meagre exclusive lineup that leaves people wondering what the point of having an Xbox is. When Sony does it, there are plenty more games that will continue to be exclusive.
I’m pretty sure there will still be plenty of exclusives. Certain select titles being multiplat makes sense, and it’s not as if Sony is the first to do it. I believe Sony said it’s only certain multiplayer titles that they aren’t planning to keep exclusive.
What battle? Is Stadia in any position to be considered in the running to "win" anything when compared to other systems?
Do you really think Stadia could compete with PS NOW? Not that it can compete with xCloud either, mind you.
Number one on this list is remakes and reboots? RoFL. Bringing MTs to consoles is an innovation? I guess a rose by any other name is still a rose, but if there was a plant equivalent to corporate greed I don't know if I would want to see it.
I'm all for reducing our carbon footprint and trying to save the planet, and it's not like I'm the biggest Xbox fan in the world, but that's just ridiculous and pedantic. Gaming is, IMHO, one of the most environmentally friendly hobbies there is...as the real thesis of this article seems to be.
Yeah. But that really opens up the debate as to whether games should be judged first and foremost where they stand next to other entries in their respective series, or if they should be judged first and foremost as games before that comparison is drawn. Andromeda belongs on every list of disappointing titles, but that does not make it a "worst game of the decade" contender, as disappointment simply means "did not live up to expectations". If that's what this list is...
Yeah, the company who topped 100 million in sales with their latest system should take some cues from the company who sold less than half of that and has even been outsold by a system released a couple years or so ago. /s How about cues that the Series X can take from PlayStation if MS wants it to do better than the XB1 did?
Absolutely!
RoFL. Imitation is the best form of flattery, I guess. This is taking plagiarism to a whole new level though.
Yeah, I really don’t know what the authors of articles like this are smoking. All the articles about how the Big 3 might react to the Stadia are proof that it’s possible to be even more high, but authors who write drivel like this are pretty high too.
Sony can and will reveal the PS5 when they’re ready. They don’t need to concern themselves with what MS of all companies is doing.
If it’s anything like what the XB1 has meant for the PS4...not a whole lot.
You mean the egos of those in charge of Xbox are too big to care. Oh well, TBH I don't think this will have much of an impact on next gen Xbox sales, negative or positive. They had best be addressing their exclusives situation with their newly bought studios or else they will have a repeat of this gen regardless of their choice for a system name.
