....that looks like an Elite 360 dev kit.
EDIT: O.K., I'm 99% confident that ALL blurred parts are 360 dev kits (not just Elites, but regular white ones as well)....and I know why as well.
Rocksteady obviously made some connection with Sony/PS3 during the making of this game:
1.) The exclusive Joker content.
2.) Announcing recently...with no apologies...that the 360 would NEVER get ANY exclusive content.
3.) Only the PS3 was used to promote ...
Yes...and that $30 million is only 5% of Halo 3's total gross sales...which is a MUUUUCH better than a typical advertising budget for a major product/media event. Hollywood films...and other video games Devs/Publishers.. that can't/don't spend at least 3 times that amount, typically FLOP.
Nice try though. :)
He said for the "hd consoles"...meaning THIS GEN. So far, the only thing we've seen this gen of GT is a glorified DEMO/GT4 with a facelift....which has sold waaaay less than half of what HALO 3 has. I think you might be confused...or delusional. :o
No, I think your "point" was well understood....just obviously flawed.
Australia IS "outside the US"....WAAAAAAAAAY outside, as a matter of fact; you can't get much further than that, from the U.S. If you wanted your "point" to be valid, this Halo ODST would have to have taken place IN the U.S., which is MS's home turf. Sony couldn't/wouldn't/hasn't/can't .....and never will....promote a game on this level, ANYWHERE. It's simply not in their &quo...
...this event took place in AUSTRALIA. Nice try...but no.
BTW, Japan has more fan-driven hype over major releases. You've never seen a Final Fantasy or MGS or Dragon Quest Dev/Publisher event on the level of what MS/Bungie does. NEVER.
...is why Halo is so huge, and sells like it does. Only MS does this type of mind-blowing promotion for a game. Pay attention, Sony.
If Ubisoft and Techland INTENDED for the DLC to be free....why the hell didn't they put "FREE" in the official title of the content, so MS couldn't legally charge for it? If you just give DLC to MS, and leave it up to them, OF COURSE they're going to charge for it. Ubisoft also could have provided a universal "Redeem code", so all gamers could just download it for free.
As for the technical issue....that will get worked out. If I'm not mistaken, 8/6 was t...
Now I truly have no desire to play Infamous....great job, Sucker Punch. :/
...or just curious? ;)
"Thees eez ay knuyfe"
I guess you finally "got it". :o
...and then I saw it being played at GameStop. Um, no. :o
Honestly...is anybody else getting sick and f*cking tired of the deluge of amateur "journalists" in the gaming industry, and their blogs/articles?
And I'm not necessarily talking about somebody like HHG....at least he "keeps it real", and doesn't pretend to be anything/anybody he isn't...at least from an intellectual or literary standpoint. So many of these random "stories" come off as forum post rants or sophmoric essays, done by some C+ average...
And at #6 ????? WTF....do that many people actually play that on co-op? 0_o
...doesn't excuse you from posting a pointless, WAAAAAAAAY off-topic comment.
HERE are the REAL facts:
For $200 (plus tax and/or shpg, depending on where you buy), you are set, with ALL YOU NEED, to play HUNDREDS of great games on the 360. Live isn't needed...nor is WiFi...to enjoy some of the best games this gen has to offer: Bioshock, Mass Effect, Oblivion, Fable 2, etc....and even Alan Wake and SC:Conviction in the near future. If you really want to play games online, it's not much more to do so; you can get a 20gb HDD for under $30.00, if you know w...
..I think you mean a $200 360. ;)
Just like with the Wii, there are hundreds of great games that you can play on the 360, and a HDD isn't necessary.
BTW, I fully expect Nintendo to finally drop the Wii to $199.99, at least by the holidays.
...PS3 exclusive that will make me eventually buy a PS3: The Last Guardian.
My wife and I loved the PS2, initially, because of great games like Ico, Drakan: The Ancient's Gates, Primal, and Sly Cooper. But, since none of those franchises have appeared on the PS3...and the new one's don't really interest us...we're waiting for TLG. Of course, by the time it releases, the PS3 will be $300...or less...so the wait pays off for us. ;)
More sloppy submission work slips by the approval noobs. Kids these days have no respect for the English language. :o
A vertical 360's power cord plugs in at the bottom, NOT the TOP. The cord you see is the AV cord....on the 360. ;)
Bottom line: Regardless of reasoning behind it, those ARE 360s that are blurred out. I'm now 100% certain.
