As I said in a post, when this first started during E3, it's all about EAP....Electronic Arts Partners.
In other words, EA has tainted yet ANOTHER dev and yet ANOTHER franchise in the process ; this is nothing new. Wake the hell up, people.
...it stands to reason that it would be used for sex. After all, everyone knows the average guy is only interested in the "QUICKIE". ;)
...the EU version has a tampon-changing minigame, after you finish doing the make-up. :o
...supergay anime avatar. :)
...is the REAL reason they make the Halo games. Make no mistake about it. If Halo had never taken off like it did, you can bet your arse the guys at Bungie wouldn't have "liked" it as much...and there sure as hell wouldn't have been a 2 & 3.
...Marathon 2 wouldn't be a "new IP" either...and certainly not a departure from the "space marines vs. aliens" genre. Nitwit.
...that they promoted the last GOW game with a REAL LIVE GOAT sacrifice, and NUDE WOMEN? I don't think Sony cares about offending people...they just cater to the fanboys.
Heavy Rain is the Barbie Doll game. :)
...you ARE completely wrong. Activision owns the COD copyright and IP.
...@ the bitter PS3 fanboy. Why don't you send that little diatribe to IW via e-mail. I'm sure they'd love to read how much your butt hurts. :)
...so they just showed Alan Wake, which more than sufficed. ;)
Reported as offensive.
Enjoy playing your Barbie Simulator....should come in handy when you decide get into your mom's make-up and dresses.
L4D sold like 3.5 million copies....10k is not nearly enough to make Valve or EA take notice.
This reminds me of the stupid PS3 fanboys' "boycott" of Capcom, because DMC4 was coming to the 360 ; we all know how THAT turned out. :o
Developers have been using game engines to render cutscenes for YEARS. It's cheaper, and it helps keep the gamer in the experience, by not introducing a radical change/improvement in graphical fidelity....then yanking the gamer back into the game. Gears 1 & 2 render the cutscenes in-game as well.
That's one of the things I hated about last gen...games like Onimusha, Ninja Gaiden, and Resident Evil had award-winning, movie-like cutscenes....but the gameplay was left feeling...
How, exactly, is the "360 getting the finger from Capcom" ? Go ahead...this should be funny. :o
...but still looks as great as it did earlier in the week. ;)
"even if it is slightly disappointing that it doesn’t help its third-party friends by passing on the goods, given the well documented problems multi-format games have had at the hands of the PS3’s architecture."
....is why MS has such great 3rd party partnerships; they have superior dev tools and 3rd party support. Sony pretty much takes care of in-house devs, and lets the rest fend for themselves.
A "disagree", likely from some moron who has no clue what 'Black & White' even is. :o
L4D was in development for about 4 years....started right around the time the PC version of HL2 was being finished. Of course, they spent a lot of time on Ep. 1 & 2, which likely slowed things down for L4D.
