1.) This is about PS3s being "sold out everywhere"....WTF does availability of the 360 have to do with that.
2.) I have a PS3. I bought a used one from GS, using my employee discount, and got it for $190. Sony's not getting my $$; I'm buying all used, for the PS3, because there's only a handful of games I'll be playing on it.. ;)
Hey dumbass...read the article TITLE. Does it not say "sold out EVERYWHERE"??
Besides, given the population density, and demographic, Atlanta is as good a measuring stick as you could get. Not to mention, Wal-mart, Target, Best Buy, etc. all have them in stock too. This article is just 100% bogus bullsh*t....deal with it.
I work in the highest volume GameStop in all of Atlanta, GA.....we've sold all of 3, since release, out of 18 put in our inventory. People are asking about it, but most of them already have a "fatty", and want to know how much they'd get on trade, etc. Most people are waiting for Sony bundles.
....it's 360 exclusive, just like the first one. In fact, it looks like that's MS's strategy from now on...as it should have been all along. You won't see Fable 2 or 3, Gears 2, Halo 3 or ODST....MAYBE not even Alan Wake...on the PC.
Should have just said "5 GAMES to AVOID in 2009....and beyond" They aren't "PS3 games"...but are all multiplatform....and they are all known to be garbage anyway. There was no reason for this article to be WRITTEN, let alone APPROVED for N4G.
...it's a f*cking MMO, dumbass. Name another MMO with graphics CLOSE to this. Just ONE. This looks better than GTA4, graphically, and has a sh*tload more going on in it. Compare this to WoW...the most popular/successful MMO in history....and then tell me how bad this looks. :o
Wow…so much fail, in such a small, pointless article. Mike, you might “got game”, but you don’t “got common sense”.
There’s only ONE reason for having a wireless connection, and that is for ease of connection when your console/entertainment setup isn’t in the same room as your internet connection. PERIOD. Everything else you named…all redundancy aside…is just opinionated drivel.
HERE are the FACTS:

...this is how MS maintains an edge on their competitor(s). They charge for LIVE....but it gives them an edge on Sony...and Nintendo...because they offer a better online package because of it. They charge for (most) DLC, but they also get the best content for their customers because of that extra $$, like exclusive...or timed-exclusive...content, and better quality multiplatform treatment across the board. They also use that $$ to support a LIVE infrastructure that GUARANTEES certain th...
...that describes your comment PERFECTLY. 360 owners would have had NO REASON to buy Uncharted, unless they just wanted to look at the case art or disc. I guess PS3 owners are ignorant if they haven't played Fable 2, Kameo, Halo 3, Gears 1 & 2, etc.
Actually, I preordered mine off Amazon, and got it for $47.99, no tax, no shipping....AND got it dropped to my door on 8/25, the day it released. :) They did a promo for an additional $5 off, if you signed up for a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime. With it, you got an automatic upgrade to free same-day shipping. ;)
Before anyone gets too excited over Rocksteady/Eidos getting Batman:AA into Guiness, remember one thing: FUEL made it into Guiness too.
This is just PR madness. Getting into Guiness,is almost as easy as making a Wikipedia entry. You can make a "claim to fame" over pretty much ANYTHING, and submit it to Guiness; if it passes (and it usually does), you're in, until you get "bumped". And, to be quite blunt, this particular entry is so vague....and meaningless...

...the "first" gameplay footage was shown well before E3.

...it's a sci-fi video game..not a f*cking WWII documentary. :o

....just pathetic.
Really.
Only possible on SOME PCs.
...you might be retarded. Just sayin'...
...what an ignorant, retarded fanboy you truly are. :/

....because they CREATED one for it. That's why I said, in my earlier post, that it's just a meaningless PR stunt....just like with FUEL.

....keep it that way.
