Does not seem to be like what we expect - I noticed even by using iron sights, the green reticle can still be seen about, say, and inch above the sights. Seems like a letdown but I'm just nitpicking. Fallout made me bypass MOH, because the former is coming out only a week after the latter.
Correct, human opponents are they way to go if one has to develop the skills in a multiplayer game. AI Bots will be predictable in the end and their weaknesses will be easy to exploit. I would see this mode as the best way to know the maps, though, aside from private matches or empty servers.
I played the PC beta and firing still has no simulated recoil as of last Wednesday. The sights just kept spinning by a pixel dead center on target. Recoil effect is seeing the sights jump unpredictably while firing a weapon, a product of the reciprocal force of the spent cartridge in real life. The only way to stabilize the sights is to pause fire, which is unnecessary in MOH because *there is no recoil*..
Some like that and others don't.
Let's not forget there are other regions that the PS3 serves well.
I think Ballistic Knife if better - it forces the player to take the time to aim before making the kill
@phantomT1412: One of the best ideas Treyarch ever had, a more level playing field.
Infinity Ward made the MP gaming world hold its breath by pushing P2P on all platforms. After the wait and see period, I'm glad to see that other developers saw the error of IW's ways and still believe Dedi's are still the way to go. That also helps third parties revolving around the game server business thrive and that in turn creates jobs.
It was IW-Mackey who said that! LOL
When Fallout 3 was about to be released, I had my worries that Bethesda was doing it, not the folks who did Fallout and Fallout 2. But I was pleasantly surprised how addicting the adventure and exploration was, so I was happy how Bethesda handled Fallout 3 adventurewise. The change to First Person Perspective I liked, too. Now Obsidian is back caring for their baby then I am confident this game will be worth it. Two more weeks to go baby!!!
It's the adventure into the unknown I am most excited about. It's a big sandbox with full of things to discover. I wished there were more places to see and things to do in Point Lookout, so New Vegas is my ultimate fix.
I checked out the Beta too last night, to be honest and on its own merits the Multiplayer itself is fun. The Graphics are nice and sharp. Based on my experience it does feel like BFBC2 but a little better. The guns don't have much recoil. One can just point the sights, use up a clip and notice the muzzle goes nowhere else. - but I don't yet get the real logic about how many bullets a target can take before the hit detector goes off. In COD, the hit detector is *per round* and the tar...
Won't hurt to download the client. Maybe it'll be a good MP game and the only way to know is to try it for free. If I like it, then I'll buy it, but problem is Fallout New Vegas is coming up a week after release and Black Ops on November 9. Too much games, so little time. Zoiks!
Yes, he bought it for a Nintendo. Didn't make it work, just put it on the floor and thought it would run.
I remember my cousin's little boy jogged inside the activator because he thought doing so will make Mario run.
Jagged Alliance 1 and 2. hehehe.
we hate him. But as long as he's working on making money for Activision (that's a CEO's job anyway), shareholders will want to hang on to him. Only when sharepricers take a dive for some odd reason, we may see the day Kotick skulking around like a wet cat and some duct tape on his mouth (put on by the directors, of course).
...forgot to add, for PC gamers point of view at least...
is the best chance to try before you buy. I think the beta (if many will avail of it) will make or break Day One sales for this title.
Oh yes I haven't thought about that in that way (spamming gold on land purchases). Good point. Buying plots of land farther from the city costs much more expensive though.
Now I just realized why I was bleeding cash - I still played the Civ1-4 way of building roads on every tile. Roads now cost 1 gold per turn now actually (I gotta print out the manual instead of reading the PDF file on screen. LOL. Probably my next game I can manage the economy way better.

COD4 was, in my opinion, the height of the COD series. Although it shows its age, it's still a blast to play especially in a tightly controlled server of your choice.
Because they are part of Activision, Treyarch could not say IW made a big mistake with IWNet, but they did indirectly. One year later, MW2 is woefully infested with hack players, horrible P2P lag, host migration by a mere change of a Steam profile name, and those are perfect examples why Dedicated Servers...
