For those on the fence, you have got to try it. I have had more fun with just the demo than I have had with some full games. The co-op experience with friends is one of the best times I have ever had. Even the single player is a lot of fun to play through.
I love Left 4 Dead. Valve are masters of their craft and L4D shows it in the refinement of the gameplay and level design. It really does remind you of playing through a cool zombie movie. Truly one of the best co-op experiences of all time.
PC gaming is ok, but there aren't nearly as many people with gaming rigs as there are with consoles. 90% of my friends own 360s or PS3s and very few of them have a game capable PC. Just look at the sales numbers of PC software vs console software to see where most people spend their time and money. I use to be a PC gamer, but I have mostly let that go. I enjoy console gaming a lot more now.
The graphics in Left 4 Dead look as good as Resistance 2. Do you call Resistance 2 outdated? I don't. Neither game's graphics are the best I have ever seen, but they do the job and look pretty nice.

I thought the graphics looked pretty good. The real-time lighting engine is particularly nice. I thought the anti-aliasing could have been better, but other than that the game looked nice. The world felt convincing to me, anyway, and that is the most important thing.

No, because in context it was obvious that they meant that it was console exclusive to the 360. (They were being asked if there would be a PS3 version.)
Anyway, consoles are much more popular nowadays than PC gaming and so a game being a console exclusive is still a pretty nice feather in the 360's hat.
I've only played the demo on 360 and PC, but from what I played the game is freakin cool. I loved the way the zombies moved and the tactics and teamwork that the game engenders. Playing with a couple friends online is pure gaming nirvana. I think this game deserves the great scores that it has received so far.

It sounds like it's going to be awesome. It's cool that Nathan Fillion is going to be doing some of the voice work for the game. All in all this sounds like a really fresh take on the Halo universe. I can't wait.
