Much appreciated, MS. It's funny, I didn't expect it to be this way, but I am really digging the new avatars. It brings more personality to the console and to the whole interaction with friends. I like what they have done with this, and it is nice to see that they will be adding more content for customizing your avatar. The fact that it is going to be free is just icing on the cake.
Left 4 Dead is awesome. Resistance 2 is pretty good as well, but I think L4D is more fun. I've played it on the PC and the 360 and the 360 version holds up very well. It's mainly a matter of the degree of anti-aliasing that separates the two versions from what I have seen. Other than that it is the same experience and graphics on either one.
I agree. I'm loving the NXE. Almost everyone I talk to is digging it as well. The 8 person party system is particularly cool.

I own a PSP, PS3, Xbox 360, and original Xbox. I don't own a gaming PC. So personally, I found more games on the Xbox 360 that I wanted to play than on the other platforms. Gears of War 2, Fable 2, Left 4 Dead are better than the games out this season on the ps3. The fact is, the gaming media have used the term "console exclusive" for a long time, because it describes a legitimate category. Consoles and gaming PCs largely appeal to different types of people, thus it makes sense to define something as console exclusive.

I own a PS3 and he is right, around half of those games suck or are fairly mediocre. For me, Gears 2 is better than MGS4 and quite a bit better than Resistance 2. Fable 2 is better than LBP. Obviously, those are my opinions, but judging by the sales data, a whole lot of other people agree with me as well. Gears 2 and Fable 2 trump anything on the PS3 released in the last 6 months. I love Uncharted though, I can't wait for the sequel.
