What are you going on about? heyheyhey is the one that started talking about sales. I only corrected his misinformation. I never said that sales equals a good game. Sales do, however, indicate how desirable a game is in the eyes of gamers. Sales aren't the end-all-be-all, but they are an important measure of a game's success.

What an ignorant comment. Gears of War 2 wasn't announced until February of this year, only 8 months ago. It's a well know fact that Microsoft tend not to show their hand until much closer to when the games are actually going to be released. You can argue against it all you want, but their track record is there for anyone to see. Sony tend to announce most of their games far in advance of when they will be released. I remember the same things being said last year ...

@why o why
"Do you mean Uncharted capable or GT5P capable because ur confusing me if your talking about graphical capability cause ive not seen anything like those yet."

A lot of people act like those games are doing something the 360 isn't but I don't agree with that at all. I own Uncharted and I have played GT5P and I don't think that they surpass the what I have seen on the xbox 360. I would put Uncharted about on par with the first Gears, but Gears 2 is the ...

Developers aren't lazy, that is the biggest load of crap ever. Most developers work extremely hard and for long hours. The problem is that the PS3 is very difficult to get good performance out of. If you have lots of time and huge budgets, like Killzone 2, you can make games that look great on the PS3. But it takes a lot more time and effort to get there.

That's been my experience. The only exceptions are a few titles where the PS3 version manages to equal the 360 version. But you're right, most multiplats are better on the 360 to some degree or another.

Thinking something is lame and crying are two separate things.

Zero good movies? Puhleese! It's only a small percentage of the available titles.

Well it's pretty obvious where your bias lies just by the fact that you call out POG, when this very thread is filled with several people on the PS3 side that are just as extreme. Some people have a very mild preference for one console over another and some people have a very strong preference for a certain console. When you do favor one console over another and you see people constantly judging it unfairly it can sometimes make a fairly reasonable person lash out more aggressively.

By your logic we should also hate Sony for the huge failure rate of the PS1 and PS2. It's funny, I had my first PS2 die on me, yet my 360 has never given me a problem at all. I just despise the hypocrisy of people who blow the RROD completely out of proportion and then give Sony a free pass on their past hardware unreliability issues. At least MS didn't have to be sued to get them to take care of the problem like Sony did.

I've never had a problem with my 360, thank you very much. And I love the system, the online service, and especially the games. I have the PS3, because it is a good movie player.

I don't know what is going on, but if Sony is doing this just to dampen the release of the NXE update that's just lame of them. It seems so pointless and desperate.

Nah man, the game is awesome in my opinion. No scenario ever plays out the same way twice.

I use to mess with PCs but I don't anymore. I have only consoles and so for me Left 4 Dead can only be played on the Xbox 360.

Well, it depends. There are good and bad and every shade in between in every country.

Crap game on either platform, just a crappier piece of crap on the PS3.

6415d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

I think there is some truth to that, but even games that were lead on the PS3 sometimes look better on the 360. Dark Sector and Mirror's Edge both had the PS3 as their lead development platform and I thought both of those games looked better on the 360. I don't think we have seen enough games with the PS3 as lead to draw any final conclusions. All we know is that there have been a couple games like Dead Space and Burnout Paradise that had the PS3 as lead and ended up looking virtually iden...

I know, it's lame. I pay netflix, Microsoft pays netflix (or the content providers themselves), netflix pays sony, so why can't I choose to watch the movies I am paying for on my TV through my 360?

6415d ago 1 agree3 disagreeView comment

Yeah I agree, I own both systems and the 360's video store has a lot more content than the playstation store. I also like how you can watch trailers and previews of every movie in the Xbox 360 video marketplace, unlike in the PS store where there are no previews unless you happen to find a trailer of that movie and download it, but it has no streaming trailers or anything like you get on Xbox LIVE.

Lost exclusives don't hurt anybody. All console makers have to buy exclusive game content to make their platform desirable and distinct from the other consoles. Sony has already done tons of that when they bought development studios like Guerrilla and nobody ever really criticized them for that. This is different though because these are movies that have already been out and are available through the Netflix service but right before the NXE update is released Sony suddenly pull those movies...

6415d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

Of course they all do it, but why do people attack Microsoft for buying exclusive content when Sony has done more of that than Microsoft. Sony own dozens of studios and nobody seems to be down on Sony for that fact. I see a lot of PS3 fans getting upset just because a former 3rd party exclusive goes multiplatform. What these people don't seem to understand is that in all likelihood the economic realities of modern game development have more to do with those games going multiplatform than w...

I'm with you man, this does seem spiteful and kind of childish to me. I don't see how it will really help Sony that much. I'm like you too in that I have an Xbox 360 and I love it. I have had it since launch and it has never given me any problems. I'm still really excited for the NXE update, but it just seems stupid that Sony had to go and try to hurt its release with some silly little action like this. Oh well, even if it doesn't get sorted out it really is just a drop in the bucket in ...
