It sounds like you haven't even played the Xbox 360, because what you are saying is not true at all. I have a lot more games for my 360 than my PS3 and most of them have extremely good single player experiences. It sounds like you just decided in your head that since the 360 is known for having a strong online service that 360 games are going to be weak in the single player department. But that is completely untrue.
No, he is saying that this is a silly console war that we are involved in FOR FUN! And if we are going to argue this stuff the only things we have to go on are sales data and review scores. Nobody cares about what I as an individual thinks about Okami, for example, because nobody knows me personally and they don't care about what I think. For the purposes of debating the merits of each of the consoles two of the main things we have to go on are sales data and review scores. That is what h...
That's exactly right. The number of quality titles has doubled because the number of games has more than doubled. The PS3 has been out twice as long now as it was in 2007 and it has twice as many "quality" games. Why are people acting like this is some kind of revelation.
The 360 still has a large lead on the number of quality games in its library.
Well, I certainly hope it doubled. The quality of PS3 games last year was crap. It showed improvement, whoopty do! It still trails the 360 in number of quality games by a long way.
That's because the PS3 version is blurrier in general. I have seen a lot of PS3 games like this.
And yet you provide no evidence or numbers backing up your claims whatsoever. Pathetic. It isn't 9 months either smart guy. The 360 is reaching that installed base almost a year earlier than the original Xbox.
Spin, spin, spin. You spin me right round baby right round...like a record baby...
First of all, it's reported that the 360 will reach an "installed" base of 25m by the end of this month (November) and you are claiming that it will take them "3 years and 3 months"? Are you dense? That's slightly over 3 years, not "3 years and 3 months". So they did in 3 years what it took them 4 years to do last generation. And that is considering the Wii sales juggernaut giving them fierce competition on top of the PS3. Yes, I would say that is a very nic...
Wow, the sony defense force denial is strong in this thread. Claiming that these numbers are incorrect when you don't even back up those claims with evidence of your own is just pathetic. The truth is that every bit of data we have points to the 360 being close to a 25M installed base. http://www.vgchartz.com/
The 360 just outsold the PS3 nearly 2-to-1 in North America in October. We don't know what the numbers are from ...
Wow, what ignorance.
anybody can see that the 360 version is much clearer and more detailed. you can see the details more in the 360 version because they are not blurred out like they are on the ps3 version. i am not sayin that the PS3 version is bad it just doesn't look as good as the 360 version.
Oh get real, it doesn't look that good.
If you think killzone 2 looks as good as crysis, you are fanboy to the max. To the guy below me, I am not saying COD5 looks better than Killzone 2, i am just saying that KZ2 does not look anywhere near as good as crysis. KZ2 looks about as good as Gears 2...each game has their own strengths and weaknesses.
Actually I'm loving COD WaW, and yes it definitely does look better on the 360. my friend brought over his PS3 copy and we compared both versions and the 360 looks sharper and has better antialiasing and better lighting in parts. All you have to do is look at the first part of the video when they're in the hut and you can see the reflecting and flickering lighting on the ceiling that is completely absent on the PS3 version. The 360 version also has more blood splash onto the wall when the ...
Not everybody wants a Blu-ray player, though. Not everybody wants or needs Wi-Fi. That is why I always laugh at those silly comparisons people do when they are trying to prove what a good value the PS3 is. It's only a good value if you want those things. Not everybody wants to use a game console as their Blu-ray player. Some people don't want to have their game console crap out on them because they are using the drive to play lots of movies. There are lots of different considerations an...
You PS3 worshipers need to get lives. The 360 + Blu-ray will make a lot of sense for some people.
Wishful thinking. Gears 3 will be a 360 exclusive, no question.
Anyway, Gears 2 is a lot better than Resistance 2 so I'm not quite sure where you were going with that crap about Epic calling Insomniac for assistance.
My 360 hasn't got RROD and the PS3 is not the best console. I hope that answers your very deep questions.
Oh, and I have no idea why the chicken crosses the road. You'll have to get someone else to answer that one. :)
Yeah right. Killzone 2 will look pretty mediocre in even 5 years, nevermind 20.
Ha, ha, I know what you mean. I'm just sharing what I have seen and my opinions of things.
I hope I was not misunderstood. I want Blu-ray to succeed. That is one of the main reasons I bought my Ps3. It's just that I can step outside of my personal wants and see some of the problems facing Blu-ray. I still think it will eventually succeed. At least, I hope.
Hey guys, nobody cares about which games we personally own. A Wii owner could come on here and list 200 Wii games that they own and love and it wouldn't say anything about the general quality of the Wii lineup compared to the 360 or PS3 lineup.
Here are the facts:
Number of games rated 90 or better on Metacritic:
Xbox 360 = 17
PS3 = 9
Wii = 8
Number of games rated 80 or better on Metacritic:
Xbox 360 = 125
PS3 = 84
