If we're lucky, we'll see this late 2008.
Since the game is coming out in Japan on time, we know that the game is nearly finished. I think MS pushed it into Feb 08 since the west has a full plate this holiday. Mass Effect being the main course.
But I've already paid in full at Gamestop. They're holding a Halo 2 tournament just before the midnight release.
MS obviously has a great relationship with Tecmo. (or at least Team Ninja)
I've had Crackdown dreams after playing it.
In the old days, it was policy for stores to take returns on games. Then guys like you came along and abused the system. They would buy a game, play it and then return it. (or, for PC games, copy it then return it) That's why we can't return games anymore.
The 360 was designed by japanese and european designers.
By "good job" I meant they are getting japanese support. I didn't mean selling consoles.
With Xbox 1, they did a bad job since there were zero JRPGs.
He is one of the few (or perhaps the only) developers that is loyal to a particular console. He supported Xbox 1 exclusively simply because it was very powerful. The 360 is a great machine, so he is fully supporting it. He said that all of his games would end up on 360 first.
...then Ninja Gaiden is your game. It is amazing, you must play it. But if you don't like to block in games, then forget it. This game is all about defense and patience. It is extremely rewarding, though. NG & NGB are BC on 360. Go get this game now!!!
With Mass Effect coming out in November, it makes sense to push LO into 2008.
MS needs Dragon Quest exclusive to make a dent in Japan.
I don't need wacky mini-games that cost a few grand to develop.
If you put Perfect Dark Zero and RFOM side-by-side, I think PDZ would win. (Technically, not necessarily artistically.)
It's also completely fair to compare Bioshock and Gears to any PS3 game. The PS3 came out 1 year later and should be more powerful. There's little excuse for learning the machine.
The Xbox 1 came out with Halo on launch day. Halo is technically superior to any PS2 game, then and now.
The PS3 is struggling to match the 360 and ofte...
For $500 and releasing a year after the 360, the PS3 should naturally be about 3 times more powerful than the 360. Instead, games run worse on PS3.
Developers didn't have such a hard time making Xbox 1 games run smoother than PS2 games. The reason is that Xbox 1 was more powerful than PS2, and it showed in the games.
Now, games run smoother on 360. This means that the 360 is more powerful. If you know a way to make PS3 games better, talk to the developers, because they don't know.
However, I don't understand your hope in the PS3. What game or demo have we seen that looks 3x better than Bioshock or Gears? None. No PS3 game looks better.
If the PS3 proves that it is the most powerful console with a game, I will buy it. I'm a fan of technology. The 360 is the current champ in every way. Xbox Live, graphics, games, and extras are all superior.
Coding for the PS3 is like baking a turkey in a toaster. The toaster may have a clock, alarm, 8 slots, and internet access, but it's not very useful on Thanksgiving.
It's too bad. They make great original games. I wish they wouldn't waste time on old ports.
