If I remember correctly, games used to be up to $90 at some point before the N64. Man, that pricing was rough.
*sigh*, I'm probably gonna end up buying this.
I'm a sucker for the "Play. Create. Share" genre.
God of War III? Nice!
"86 score
no AAA game confirmed.
i gotta say this game has to be the biggest flop of 2010 IMO."
What did you just say about Splinter Cell?
I oughtta slap you for sayin' that!
So even in the future you're delusional?
"This is not news or an article it just the consensus of all metacritic reviews."
Then what was the point of you approving this story:

.....???
Does he know that was back in December?
And that the PS3 has sold over 3 million since then?
Really? Because my friend bought Burnout Paradise on the PS Store for $30, just a week before it went down to $20.
If he waited a week, the company would have gotten less.
I was going to buy fl0w when I heard it had trophy support... then I found out they sold it for free. Less money.
If that weren't the case, Sony would have announced an upcoming PS3 Slim months before they actually did. Sales could have dropped dramatically if they were to do that. Les...
So the expectancy of success for a game is based on what a group of guys on N4G say? Of course they're gonna say it's amazing. They wanna support it, whether it be the different way to play or the fact that it's a PS3 exclusive.
500K on PS3 for one week shouldn't be a fail because a random, no-name dude said so on the internet. If anything, it should be based on normative patterns. Splinter Cell is an action/shooter game. Action/shooter games normally - especially this year - do ...
You don't think Sony had to approve before they actually gave it away? Even if NASCAR gave it away (although I believe it was Sprint), it would have to go through Sony. And NASCAR actually didn't give it away because they only sponsered it. The developers and publishers gave it away and, if I'm not mistaken, the publisher was Sony.
For now....
until the PC (Games for Windows) version..... then it'll be exclusive to 360 and GFW..... until Steam..... then it'll be exclusive to 360, GFW and Steam.... until....
See where I'm going?
Besides, I don't think there has ever been a multiplatform game like BioShock. That rumor was shot down more than any other game I've ever seen (on par with MGS4, but that stayed exclusive) yet still ended up on Sony's console.
After that day, I...
The very first redesigned PlayStation I'm ever gonna buy is gonna be the PS3 Slim. I've never owned any "Slim" version of a PS product.
I'm still sticking with the 3000 (at least until the PSP2 comes). I'm the kind of old-fashioned guy that enjoys physical copies (except for music, because of speed and convenience):
~Blu-Ray > Digital Distribution
~Retail > DL Games
~PS360 > OnLive
Someday that will change. It's not time ye...
I was talking about the normative pattern of behavior. Learn sociology and you would understand that there will always be exceptions. The truth is, however, that raspy-voiced testosterone-filled men sell more on the 360 than something like this, Mass Effect, Viva Pinata, etc.
Also, my age is none of your business.
They gave away fl0w, Ragdoll Kung Fu and plenty of other content (Themes, Music, Shows, etc).
Qore has had at least 3 free episodes with free content inside.
Free content. You wouldn't be able to buy all of that with just $5. And, besides, be grateful for that. Every free item is less money in corporate pockets. It's supposed to be a business, not charity.
Sales matter when they're relevant. It's that simple.
If I'm talking about a game being good, sales shouldn't matter because I'm talking about the quality, not how many people experienced that quality.
Did you miss the paragraph about Heavy Rain completely or did you just not read at all?
They showed a quick comparison of the two due to similar success. Heavy Rain sold more at the same 1 week time slot. Heavy Rain also moved some units (allegedly) just like Conviction (allegedly).
Guys, I think he just forgot that Heavy Rain did the same thing for the PS3. It also sold more it's first week.
PS3 owners got free games in the past (not including free episodes of Qore with free exclusive content).
Sadly, I don't see many people buying it.
The guy actually looks like an average, everyday person. 360 gamers don't like that. They like guys with deep, raspy voices that can do things the average man can't:
Sam Fisher
Marcus Fenix
Master Chief
...
PS: Add the question mark that's in the original. This isn't a confirmed statement, it's a rumor. Worst of all, it was based on a tweet that said it took the director 3 times longer th...
